Anyone know disc. codes for S/D for 11/3,4,5?

Hi experts! My sister called the S/D this AM to try to book last minute getaway to S or D for 3 nights- 11/3,4,5 (wed-th-fr)- she was quoted a rate of $162.50 for 11/3-4 using code "all ears" but the disc. wasn't avail. for 11/5 (fr) & the best rate they could give her was $275 (even w/AAA & Ent. book). She doesn't qualify for AP, nurse, teacher, govt. employee or FL resident codes but the CM kept asking her if there was another code she wanted her to try which led her to believe there must be something out there that she doesn't know about- I figured if anyone would know or would have some suggestions, it would be the people here at the DIS! Thank you!

Maybe because it is Labor Day week/weekend, there are no discounted rooms left, but here on the Dis Boards, there is something about a $139/night special at the S/D with a free 1 category upgrade. My suggestion is for her to keep on trying. Since cancellations have to be 5 days before arrival date & some people cancel at the last minute, she should keep calling through that day for availability. I had this situation come up in May & kept calling. At 3 days before check in, availability opened for the last 2 days I was trying to add on (this was with AP discount).

Another option would be for her to try another week/weekend to see if she could get the discount of $139/night.

Apparently that special for $139/night ends Sept. 20th but I will tell her to keep calling to see if something becomes available. Thank you!

Did she inquire about the Ent card rate for the 5th? When I called in July to book for December, I was quoted 149 w/ent card. I went w/ALLEARS for the lakeview...but worth asking about.

Isn't that Jersey Week? There also could be a big convention at the S/D that starts that day.Try to book through Dreams Unlimited. They may be able to get you the allears rate, AAA or another discount.

I can't help with the discount, but I can tell you it is NJ week, and the Food and Wine Festival. Have heard all the Epcot resorts, are full or close during that time period, esp weekends. Maybe you could get a better rate for Wed and Thurs, and make a seperate reservation for Fri?
