My dm came across this and just about went nuts!

The Ulitmate Disneyworld Savings Guide 2006

Anyone know if it is any good, or would it sit under my table leg?

Let us know if you do get it. The book does sound interesting but I am skeptical, it almost seem like one of those books that says everyone can be a millionare if they buy it. JMHO

What you are doing with these books is funding the savings for the WDW trip of the AUTHOR, not yourself. LOL! Someone did the math, her great tip has to be buy and AP and get an AP room rate, not as guranteed as she makes it sound. And do you really want to pay for this

Find out precisely how it works" Umm.. wouldn't it be cheaper to read the sticky on the DIS transporation board or details on one of NUMEROUS free websites INCLUDING Disney's????

Every review I have read on these books pretty much says they just take tips from places like this, package them and sell them for a profit.

Between here and www.mousesavers.com I think 99% of us can figure these "tips" out on our own.

(And I have the paperback Disney on Dime... Don't waste your money there either, what a rip off!)

Don't bother buying it, it is a waste of money. I bought it and as another poster above said, it is just filled with tips you find here on the Disboards for free.

Examples:

Getting the free dining plan.

Buying 10 day non-expiring park tickets and using 5 days this year and 5 days next year saves you X amount of dollars.



Really is a waste of money.

I recently bought Disney on a Dime from a used book store. Let's just say I am glad I got it as a few tips I hadn't heard but I am REALLY glad I only paid 1/4 the cover price. I agree with the previous posters, unless this book is different I am happy simply to read these free boards instead.

It is not worth the price. You can have all of your questions answered here. It was like 100 pages to print out.

I agree! I always say you don't need any other help in planning a WDW vacation other than the DIS!
