Let me know, haven't heard about it until now but now I am intrigued.

Anyone else used this?

I have been to Disney quite a few times and have used Unofficial Guide. This trip I am using Unofficial Guide and Tour Guide Mike. TGM has some really great tips. I'll do a trip report when I get back next week and let everyone know how it went.

I agree with everyone who said there were bigger crowds than expected. By Monday, Nov 7th, the crowds were wearing us down and on the 9th, rumor had it that there was a 3 hour wait for Soarin'.

The CM at The Land boat ride told us there was a 210 minute wait on Nov 9.
We missed Soarin' due to a 70 minute wait and no more fast passes. I just don't feel like there is a ride worth a 70 minute wait with 3 children, LOL.
Maybe next time.

Don't do it!!! Been there done that and won't EVER go during Jersey Week again!!!

This week should be very slow. We were there last year at this time - as a matter of fact we were at MGM this day last year (Monday) and they didn't even have the FP machines in operation and still walked onto TofT. The weekends were still quite busy, but the weekdays were fab!! Also consider September. We felt like we had the Swan and the BC to ourselves this year!! Walked up to the rail 10 minutes before Illuminations. Had lots of rain, but would trade rain for crowds any day!!!

We were there too....4th-12th and to be very honest I thought it was crowded but we NEVER waited more that 20 minutes for ANY ride and that included Soarin, Space Mountain, Pirates, Dinosaur, Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan, Tower, RnR......We were at MK on the 9th and we literally did 20 rides, watched the parade and had lunch at Crystal Palace. But I do agree with some of the other posters about rude pushy people!!!!!!!!

We noticed the crowds, but never had to deal with them (as far as waiting in lines). We went to MK three times, and had little to no waiting in line anywhere. My kids rode the "big rides" in every park multiple times (using child swap and fastpasses) with minimal wait times.

So to answer your question, I wouldn't go back to WDW without using TGM.

We are from NJ and go every year this same week because of the schools being closed for teachers conventions. It has become more crowded this week the last couple of years. There were a few times the lines reminded me of the Thanksgiving week we went. It was managable if you got to the parks when they opened and used fast passes as often as you can.
It is still one of my favorite weeks to go, not too hot, food and wine, and the beginning of Christmas decorations going up.

we got back last nite-we were there 11/8-11/13. we are from joisey. I thought it was very manageable. we did animal kingdom on wed & waited no more than 10-15 minutes for anything-went to MK for extrahours that nite-very worthwhile doing-my kids left @ 10:30 pm-my wife & I stayed & walked into pirates-tiki birds & jungle cruise- did big thunder twice in a row before fireworks we left @ 11:45pm. thurs did epcot all day-arrived around 10:30am & went right for soaring fastpasses-for about 1:30pm very little wait for honey -3d-univ of energy-got fast pass for test track-but it went down while we were on line-world showcase was crowded but fine-had counter svc luch in morroco with little wait-mgm on friday walked on to tot-got fastpass for rockin roller & saw the stunt show-played millionaire twice and saw muppets-all with no wait-did rockin coaster & got another fast pass for it right after.

so anyway after all that blabbing-not as bad as other people- :wizard:

We were there from 11/5 to 11/12 and all we can say is "NEVER AGAIN"! We usually go the week after Thanksgiving or the week before so the crowds may have seemed worse to us. We chose the week (like everyone else) to minimize the amount of time we had to take DD out of school. Used fastpasses for the first time ever - we've never had a wait long enough to make them worthwhile before this week. Went to Epcot on Friday morning. Got there at opening and went right to Soaring - like everyone else. Waited twenty minutes in line to get a fastpass to come back six hours later! Standby waits were over an hour by 9:30. Weather was gorgeous and we had a great time but wouldn't go Veteran's Day week again even if it means more missed school.

We just got back this afternoon. We got there on the 10th and went to the parks on the 11th, 12th and 13th. Crowds were big but by using fastpasses and being there when the parks opened we saw and did everything we wanted to. We did soarin twice on Sat the 12th. We walked over to the land with 1000's of others had a fastpass by 9:25 for a return of 10:45. We then rode test track and shopped for a few and then got our 2nd fastpass for soarin with a return time of 4pm and then rode it with the first fastpass (stand by time was 70 minutes. Loved soaring (asked to sit in first row) and had no problem. The countries were packed for the Food & wine but we had no problems riding Mexico, Norway (15 Min wait) or getting a seat at the American Adv. Sun. at MGM most everybody was there for the Soaps and we walked on over and over in the am on Star tours. We saved Rock and Tower for the extra magic hrs after Famtasmic which we just walked on. The weather was absoutely perfect. We didn't break a sweat at all. We would return this time of the year. We did MK on Friday and yes it was crowded but using FP we did it all.

Well thanks for all the input. We have decided to go ahead and take our DS out of school a few more days to go in the beginning of December instead. I am so glad I posted my question, and so thankful for all of your responses!!
:disrocks:

We were there 11/10-14, and it was packed we are used to going in early August, and it was a lot worse than then, on the 11 we were at the Land at 9:20 to get fastpasses for soaring the line to just get to soaring was out of the building, by the time we got the fastpasses the return time was 2:15......
Went to MGM on Saturday which was soap week-end, so of course the crowd was unbelievable, but the lines short as most people were waiting to see the stars.
AK, was OK, we went to MK on Friday night which was very crowded, and EPCOT saturday night was wall to wall people, we just walked through to go the party for the senses.....

What's the history for this Thanksgiving week coming up? We are leaving Sat and hope to hit all the big stuff in all the parks on Sun, Mon, Tue and Wed and then just hit all the missed small stuf and do SeaWorld on Thu and Fri when WDW is most croweded. Do you think we will be alright in the the beginning of the week before Turkey day?
