Spring Advantage arrives later than Spring.

You won't be alone. Several hundred people arrive each arrival day.

Does anyone know if you are able to change your check-in dates once you have accepted them? I sent them an email asking if it was possible. I hope to change my date to the Jan 7th one instead of Jan 23rd.

You should be able to. I've heard of several people from the fall program who changed their arrival dates, and a couple even changed from the regular program to advantage. Also, since you notified them this early before your program start date, they should be able to meet your request.

Ooo, good luck! They say it usually comes around 2-3 weeks (sometimes earlier, sometimes later). My first CP it came after 11 days. However, for my 2nd CP it took over 1 1/2 months to find out because I had an audition.

Yea, im signed up for an audition Nov 2nd so I wont be able to sign in they said till 1-2 weeks after the audition. But I should know within 72 hours if i'll be a character or not! After that I signed up for Attendant, Attractions, Merchandise. Im so excited!

I also signed up just for Spring, since she said I can always extend to Advantage. I want to do a PI, so if the PI falls through, ill just extend my program and have more fun in the parks!

My boyfriend and I are planning my check-in trip in January, and he asked me to ask those who are currently in the CP if you have had any friends or family utilize the CM discount on resorts yet, and if so what kind of rates and where did they stay. He is just wondering for future visits during my CP in the Spring. Thank you!

P.S. Those who are staying at Chatham Square, could you give me a general address for the apartments so I can look it up on Google Maps.

That's a good idea. And attendant is fun as well (that's what I got when I didn't pass the audition).

You are very welcome! Yay, that's great!! I chose the earliest arrival date, too.

I think CMs currently get 40% off of resort reservations (or is it 20%?), and you can start getting the discount once you get your CM ID. I wish I could help you more with the CM resort discount, but I haven't booked a resort yet. I will send you a PM regarding the general area for Chatham Square.

Not currently on the CP, but I have used the resort discount twice. Once on my first CP, and once on my third. The first time I stayed at Contemporary, and the 2nd time I stayed at Grand Floridian. Both times it was almost 50% off. So while GF was still kindof pricey, Contemporary was about $100 a night.

He had another question about the CM discounted Magic Your Way tickets. Has anyone actually purchased any for family/friends that have come to visit you while you were on the CP? How much were they when you had purchased them?

I want to just say thank you to everyone here on DISboards. It has helped my friends, family and I feel much more at ease being able to hear your answers and input. I can't wait for the CP to start!

Yeah, and it was awsome! Contemporary was nice because it was within walking distance from the MK. And it had always been my dream to stay at the GF. We had originally tried to stay there after my 2nd CP, but something came up. So I begged my dad to stay there after my last CP, and he agreed.

You are welcome. Just a tip- to get the high discount you have to stay in the resort with your guest(s). If you book it just for them, it is a lot lower.

As for ticket discounts, it is not very high. I don't think it is more then 15% off, and I want to say it is 10% (I will have to check).

I have a lot of dance experience and I am pretty short, so I was going to go to a character audition, but I just broke my ankle and I had to call them and sya I couldn't audition. I am still hoping to go with another role, I just have a quick question. In the attractions role do you pretty much always get to work on a ride, or are there other duties as well? Anyway, I just found this site by accident and I am so glad to find a little community for people that are interested in the program!

Hi, and welcome to DIS! Sorry to hear about your ankle. As for attractions, you would only do attractions. Besides working the actual ride, you also do FPs (if the ride has any), be a greeter (stand in front), stroller parking, among other things.
