Anyone in Parks now? Daughter there lost wallet

Well I am glad it all turned out well. See there are good things in the world!

So happy that all turned out well for your daughter. As a piece of advice, I nowalways keep copy of front and back of my credit card, toll free no. for CC company in separate piece of my luggage as well as copy of my passport. I had my briefcase gone through while on business in Europe and luckily for me I was able to get CC canceled and go to Embassy to get PP replaced. While a hassle, it could have been even worse without having to call back to US to have DH provide me with info.

We were at WDW in December and while waiting in line to have our pic with Cinderella, we realized my wallet wasnt in the backpack. It had my drivers liscense, all of our room keys, a credit card and cash. I had no idea where I left it, ran from CRT back over to Magic Carpet ride and that area, then remembered I had it out when I was in bathroom in front...ran to front of park...went into bathroom. (only time during trip I couldnt find a CM in the bathroom)...went next door to the Customer Service/Lost and Found place and there it was!!!! I was so happy....

so...then I rushed back to CRT and joined my family just in time for dinner. Whew! Crazy night.

DH said when they told the CM at dinner what happened that I had a good chance of getting it back. She said if a CM found it, they would 100% turn it in, because its what they do and if a guest found it, about 90% of the guests would do right and turn it in!

So, I had an angel that night....CM or guest I dont know, but we were so thankful. We know that sometimes there are people who do dishonest things at WDW, but appreciate that most people do the right thing!

We were just there over the New Year....and on Jan. 1 at DTD my 18 yr. old son...either lost his wallet or got it stolen. So here we are on the phone on Jan. 1 at 11:00 p.m. to cancel his debit card and one credit card.

Got home Sunday night, took him down to DPS on Monday for his DL. I called Disney's Lost and Found but no such luck. Hope yours ends up better.

Would you believe got in the mail this past Sat. my son's wallet....everything was still there, minus a $20 dollar bill. Cheap lesson learned for my son.
