Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I got my email yesterday for magic bands but there is no link to customize them on MDE. All of my reservations are already linked but no magic band on there. Am I doing something wrong? I have been on hold with Disney for over an hr now.
 
Thanks for the info. So does direct to table mean it is preordered but you stand in the regular line and fastpass means you bypass the line and then order lunch? Just trying to figure out what is the faster option (never been to BOG yet). Does it take longer to get your food at lunch or is it similar to other quick service. Thanks.

Fastpass takes you directly in and then you place your order for good. Direct to table you place your order now and when you get there they take you directly to your seat and then bring your preordered food. This may be a little faster but I have not seen it first hand. At this point I have still only been for dinner
 
Could someone post an email address and/or phone number for Disney IT support? I still can't get my the Be Our Guest fast pass site to work. When I login, I still get the message, "Guest is Already Registered" and it won't let me proceed to look for availability. I'd rather not wait until we arrive at the hotel in case there's no availability. Thanks for the email address or phone number.

Unfortunately IT won't be any help. The test is being conducted by the restaurant and there's no way to get in touch with them at this time. I played roulette a couple of times and after an hour getting transferred around came to the conclusion that they do not want anyone to call in.

The primary person registered in the reservation is the only one that can register with the system. Still no December dates and not sure they'll open them up.

Have you tried to redo online check in?
 

Can I just say I HATE the FP+. I do not like my days now controlled by dining and FP+. I would rather do it myself in the parks. But I hear most FP are gone by 9 or 10.

You do not need to do online checking for MBs or FP+.

OP: call IT support (any WDW number - when asked how can they help, say "My Disney Experience"). They'll straighten it out.

No, you don't. But, if you have already done on line check in it sometimes creates a glitch where the Manage Magic Bands link never changes to Personalize MBs. Going in to modify the check in often corrects the problem. You don't need to change anything...just access the check in link again and hit Submit/Done on the last screen.

We had a BOG fastpass lor lunch in August because we had a room only reservation on our last night. We chose the fastpass option. When we got there, we were able to bypass the line of people waiting in 95 degree heat. It was nice that they offered umbrellas to those waiting in line in the sun. We were able to join the line to place our order. Those who preordered were given a rose and were able to choose their table. The rose helps direct the server to your location...it's enchanted, so they say:) I think we will preorder our lunch this time. I got the pork...it was delicious!
 
I was finally able to customize my MB. The email said I had until the 19th of November but online said I only had 4 days to customize. It had some glitches while I was doing it but hopefully they are all done. Thanks!

I guess at least the invite arrived before bands are to be shipped.
I'm glad I have all my stuff selected already.
If I was a newbie to WDW & a non planner that invite would be overwhelming
 
I got my invite today also, I made my selections over a week ago but now it feels official.

36 days... so close! :cool1:

10/31 I for MB to be shipped to you. 11/21 is for them to be ready at the resort. Else you get gray ones.

By the way at this time it is open to all resort guests...

If you do direct to table do you have to wait in the regular line and then just have your food ready when you get to the front? And for Fastpass, how long is the wait after you did the bypass. With 3 youngsters, I just want to pick the one that will be the quickest to sit down and get lunch.
 
Today is my 60 day mark. My husband is not listed as eligible for MyMagic+, so I called. Talked to one cast memeber who said it was because I booked through DVC, then was disconnected. Talked to another cast member who said it was just a common glitch that is happening right now, and that if I wait a few weeks, it should be resolved. :confused3

What is MyMagic+? Are you talking about Fastpass+? Call back, ask to speak with IT. Do you have tickets linked on MDE for each of you?

I'm sorry the CM on the phone was less than helpful and rude! (thinking they hung up on you, since you were disconnected?). But, I would continue to keep calling until I get someone to help you, they can help you! I had a ticket linking problem with my daughter, I could book FP+, but not see her ticket to customize. The first IT CM told me it's because it was still in early Dec(Dec 7th) and I wouldn't be able to do anything like make FP ressies or bands, till I got an invite, and there was no way she could help me. I knew that was wrong so I called back and that CM was wonderful and very helpful, and daughter was showing fully linked and our bands able to be customized in mins! There is no reason booking DVC is any different. I'm booked DVC with UT tickets and we are all set. Just call back until you get someone to help you!

And since i didn't know what mymagic+ was, I wasn't sure if I was even referring to the same program. Please don't assume others on this forum are "rude" just because they don't know how to help other than To say that DVC shouldn't affect things and that the CM they dealt with was incorrect.

I took it as she thought Disney was rude not you :confused3 At least that's how I read it.

And I'm DVC and have had no problems so far using MDE to link tickets, get FP+ and customize my bands for my December trip. :woohoo:
