Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

Didn't mean to come off as rude! I was simply saying I don't know why the CM would tell you that DVC had anything to do with it! I never experienced a problem... And since i didn't know what mymagic+ was, I wasn't sure if I was even referring to the same program. Please don't assume others on this forum are "rude" just because they don't know how to help other than To say that DVC shouldn't affect things and that the CM they dealt with was incorrect.

Oops, I'm sorry, I wasn't saying you were rude, at all! :) I'm sorry, I thought she said they hung up on her when she was disconnected, I guess I was assuming that they hung up and I thought that was rude. Hmm, I guess I shouldn't have quoted your post also, since I didn't write under it. I was quoting it, showing that another person using DVC was stating no issues because of it.

MyMagic+ refers to the entirety of the NextGen RFID system. Magic bands, fast pass plus, photo pass plus, tapstiles, tap door locks, tap POS charge readers, the My Disney Experience site and app, etc.
 
Today is my 60 day mark. My husband is not listed as eligible for MyMagic+, so I called. Talked to one cast memeber who said it was because I booked through DVC, then was disconnected. Talked to another cast member who said it was just a common glitch that is happening right now, and that if I wait a few weeks, it should be resolved. :confused3

It showed that for my dad as well. Me and my mom were eligible and could choose FP+ and personalize MB but my dad was showing up as ineligible. After calling the resort to be sure he was on the reservation, I found that he wasn't so they added him. After a few hours, we were able to select FP+ for him. However, each park day opened up at different times...so we could choose FP+ for the 15th but had to wait another hour or so for the 16th to open and so on.

We decided we had too many DHS days and wanted another MK day so I just switched our fastpass+ choices to the new park. It lets me go through it no problem and all looks good. Until I check my reservations or Itinerary. Those still show my fastpass+ at DHS:rolleyes1.
I went in and changed it several times to see if it would help. No. When I go to replace my selections, it shows my MK reservations but no matter what I do I can't get them to show under my reservations and plans. I gave up. I'll check again tomorrow and hopefully it straightens itself out.

From previous reports it has been suggested to record you FP+ times yourself since they may not show correctly on the MDE app or site.,. But they in fact are recognized by the system at the park,
 
I hope this doesn't mess me up. Tonight a 9pm (midnight eastern time) I should be at 60 days and able to make my FP+ selections.

Thank you! So if I just record the ones I made at MK? Like you said they still show when I go in to change anything so I am guessing those are the ones I actually have.:)
 
If you do direct to table do you have to wait in the regular line and then just have your food ready when you get to the front? And for Fastpass, how long is the wait after you did the bypass. With 3 youngsters, I just want to pick the one that will be the quickest to sit down and get lunch.
With the fast pass you get to go to the front of the line at your assigned time ....we only waited a few minutes . Having a fast pass and your choices already made for lunch will be the fastest way for you get served that day.
 
JUST got my MB FP+ email today,

Made my reservations a few weeks ago, customized my bands a week ago.

What I don't understand is MDE is telling me I have until Nov 1 to customize them

But the email says Nov 26?

I arrive Dec 2, I doubt they could get them too me that quickly
 
What time of day does the FP+ seem to be opening up? We arrive 12-27 and I'm wondering when I'll be able to do this....
 
So here's my experience with the FP+. BUGGY! I had to enter one days worth of FP+'s then shut down my browser then restart again with another day. Otherwise the website would tell me that one or another of my party was not eligible. Now all is done. But I really don't know if all is really done. Some FP+'s don't show up at all on the itinerary and on other itineraries they show a couple of the FP+'s but not all of them and not all of those in the party. Grrrr. I have no idea if this took or not. There seems to be no place to see all the FP+'s.
 
The MDE site can be very buggy. Last night my MagicBands were missing. :scared1: There was a message that it was only a temporary situation and that they would show up again later. :confused: So I checked this morning and the MB's were back. :thumbsup2 And I have 3 days left to customize them. That makes the trip seem really close. :goodvibes

Anyway, I had a previously used 10 day non expiring ticket. My husband is going to use a new 3 day ticket. I activated the ticket and linked it to his name, but it isn't bridging to our reservation. I'm able to make FP+ reservations for me, but not for him. It keeps telling me to link a pass but since his ticket is already activated it isn't working. When I go to his account, I can see the card, but the only option I can see is to Deactivate the card. This makes me nervous and doesn't seem like the right thing to do, but maybe it is?

Don't deactivate the card! :eek:

Do you both have separate MDE accounts? Are you linked as family who have full access to each other's activities and reservations? Does he appear on the resort reservation on both of the accounts? Can he make fp+ reservations on his account?

ETA: I just logged into my DH's MDE account and all of his reservations are missing. :eek:

I have a feeling that this is a temporary glitch and that they will appear again later. There have been there in the past and his itinerary shows all the reservations, so it should be alright for us. Of course, that doesn't solve your problem.

the MDE has been acting funny since yesterday when our MB's disappeared. Maybe just waiting another day until the regular IT guys show up to work on Monday will help. ;)

ETA: Okay, all of his reservations are on the welcome page, the one that says how many days before your vacation, and they are in the itinerary, but not on the My Reservations page. That is just weird.
 
He does not have a MDE account, but I was just going to make one for him and see if I can link things that way.
 
MDE is a mess this morning. The App is even worse. I have different fastpass+ reservations depending what I use, I have several multiples, some are missing.
I am not touching a thing and giving it a few days. If this necessitates another lengthy phone call to Disney this week they can have my phone bill this month. :coffee:
