Thanks for the info. So does direct to table mean it is preordered but you stand in the regular line and fastpass means you bypass the line and then order lunch? Just trying to figure out what is the faster option (never been to BOG yet). Does it take longer to get your food at lunch or is it similar to other quick service. Thanks.
Could someone post an email address and/or phone number for Disney IT support? I still can't get my the Be Our Guest fast pass site to work. When I login, I still get the message, "Guest is Already Registered" and it won't let me proceed to look for availability. I'd rather not wait until we arrive at the hotel in case there's no availability. Thanks for the email address or phone number.
I got my email yesterday for magic bands but there is no link to customize them on MDE. All of my reservations are already linked but no magic band on there. Am I doing something wrong? I have been on hold with Disney for over an hr now.
Have you tried to redo online check in?
You do not need to do online checking for MBs or FP+.
OP: call IT support (any WDW number - when asked how can they help, say "My Disney Experience"). They'll straighten it out.
Fastpass takes you directly in and then you place your order for good. Direct to table you place your order now and when you get there they take you directly to your seat and then bring your preordered food. This may be a little faster but I have not seen it first hand. At this point I have still only been for dinner
I just received the invite, it's 1:30. We arrive on 12/2. The invite tells me to complete my selections by Nov 21. MDE website tells me MB need to be customized by 10/31. How screwy is that.
I guess at least the invite arrived before bands are to be shipped.
I'm glad I have all my stuff selected already.
If I was a newbie to WDW & a non planner that invite would be overwhelming
We had a BOG fastpass lor lunch in August because we had a room only reservation on our last night. We chose the fastpass option. When we got there, we were able to bypass the line of people waiting in 95 degree heat. It was nice that they offered umbrellas to those waiting in line in the sun. We were able to join the line to place our order. Those who preordered were given a rose and were able to choose their table. The rose helps direct the server to your location...it's enchanted, so they sayI think we will preorder our lunch this time. I got the pork...it was delicious!
Today is my 60 day mark. My husband is not listed as eligible for MyMagic+, so I called. Talked to one cast memeber who said it was because I booked through DVC, then was disconnected. Talked to another cast member who said it was just a common glitch that is happening right now, and that if I wait a few weeks, it should be resolved.![]()

I have no idea what mymagic+ is but we are DVC and and had no problems using MDE and Linking our reservation (did that months ago) and then subsequently doing our mb and FP+ once you UT and PAPs were linked. Not sure what the CM was meaning, cause most DVC members have been using the new MDE site for months now.

And since i didn't know what mymagic+ was, I wasn't sure if I was even referring to the same program. Please don't assume others on this forum are "rude" just because they don't know how to help other than To say that DVC shouldn't affect things and that the CM they dealt with was incorrect.I'm sorry they were so less than helpful and rude! But, I would continue to keep calling until I get someone to help you, they can help you! I had a ticket linking problem with my daughter, I could book FP+, but not see her ticket to customize. The first IT CM told me it's because it was still in early Dec(Dec 7th) and I wouldn't be able to do anything like make FP ressies or bands, till I got an invite, and there was no way she could help me. I knew that was wrong so I called back and that CM was wonderful and very helpful, and daughter was showing fully linked and our bands able to be customized in mins! There is no reason booking DVC is any different. I'm booked DVC with UT tickets and we are all set. Just call back until you get someone to help you!
