Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

He does not have a MDE account, but I was just going to make one for him and see if I can link things that way.

If you have a profile for him on your MDE account then it probably won't help to set one up for him. Once a reservation is linked to an account it usually can't be unlinked and assigned to someone else.

You may have to wait until the IT staff can fix it. You will be able to copy your fp+ selections to him once it is fixed.

MDE is a mess this morning. The App is even worse. I have different fastpass+ reservations depending what I use, I have several multiples, some are missing. I am not touching a thing and giving it a few days. If this necessitates another lengthy phone call to Disney this week they can have my phone bill this month. :coffee:

I had this problem yesterday and today as well. However if I go to Manage Fastpasses I would see that there were Fastpasses assigned to everyone. Called Disney who also saw the spotty Fastpasses assignments. However, while on the phone with her I happened to hover over it little i icon next to the "already has Fastpasses ". It's in a blue circle. Suddenly there's all if my Fastpasses. And each one of us had little i's so I checked each one and they were all there. It's probably a display problem on their side. But the Fastpasses were all there.

I've been hearing for months now how bad MDE is. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect things to be this bad. It truly is unbelievable. That is all... I will return to hitting my head on the keyboard now. :badpc:

I don't know why everyone is so worried and worked up over the MB and FP+. I say just go on vacation and enjoy what ever you get. This is why I go on during the slow times. Yes I'm having some problems with FP+ but is not going to ruin my time. If I don't get a FP I don't get one. If I have to wait in line I have to wait. But to read all of the stuff about people getting mad over it is stupid. And now people are asking about March it's only November.

Done with 7 days of FP+ scheduling 12/27-1/3. Now I need to keep from second guessing myself and changing. Had some computer problems but would request again and everything went through. Did have a slight problem with last day FP+ not appearing for a while but did finally appear.

Do not have anything scheduled before 10am, hope to get the girls up and at parks early but if not I know we will be closing the parks at night.

They way I look at it is that the biggest difference between this December trip and the trip we took in February is that this time I have a chance to ride Soarin' and TSMM. When we were there in a relatively slow time, Feb 5th to 11th, the fastpasses for TSMM were often gone by mid-morning and standby would be 90 to 120 minutes. The same thing was true for Soarin'. On Sunday, Feb 10th we walked into Epcot at 9:05am, five minutes after rope drop, and by the time we got to Test Track, the line was almost backed up to the Innovations building. It was the craziest thing I ever saw. Most rides were a walk on while a couple of the headliners were insane during our entire trip. And this was early February. Needless to say, we never got on those rides. But other rides, like Haunted Mansion, almost never had a line.

When we get to WDW in December I expect the same thing, fp's gone for TSMM and Soarin'. But at least this time I have a chance to ride them. :) So except for these two changes, I don't expect our trip to be very different. :)

That is why I'm excited about FP+. We usually get shut out of FP's. Now I have guaranteed FP''s. Cool! It'll be great once the bugs are worked out. As far as I'm concerned FP+ is icing on the cake.

I just linked everything up on on MDE and made fp+ reservations. Took an hour to do 4 days having to change times. I hope they make it quicker in the future. I dont like this system at all. I don't want to think about what rides I want to be on at a certain time, a month and a half in advance. This is not my touring style, we like to change parks and get fast passes as needed. I don't mind the magic bands but I think doing these fast passes so early is crazy and limiting. Sorry to sound so negative.

I think for me the part that makes me worried is all of the unknown. I booked a trip this time that is going to be very very busy on the last few days (10's). I booked it thinking "Well I know how fastpass and rope drop work so I can make this manageable". We all know that theory got shot to heck since April when I booked:rotfl:.
However, now that I have fastpass+ I know that we'll at least get on our must do's once or twice during the week. Would I like more? Sure who wouldn't? But I'll tell you, once I finally broke down and shelled out the extra $700 to buy tickets now vs upgrading when I got there, and picked all of my fastpass+ I literally felt the stress melt away.
Before that, I was looking at having to make them when I got there and upgraded my tickets and not knowing if anything would be left and it was stressing me out.
I feel about 99% better and am actually enjoying the planning again. :goodvibes

I'd save those old tickets for a different, low season trip.

Totally agree and that's ultimately what we decided to do. By that time I will understand this new system better, and things may have changed so that you can upgrade them ahead of time. At very least I can use them when we're going on a trip with much smaller crowds like you mentioned.:)

I've been experiencing the same problems since midnight last night, when I hit my 60 days out mark. Currently, I have about 15 FPs for one day for varying people in my group, none on other days, multiple FPs for only a few members of my group in other days. It is just ridiculous! I called Disney this morning and was told the website is malfunctioning and not to try again until tonight or tomorrow morning. Even the CM couldn't get anything fixed on his end. He was very nice and apologetic, but the whole thing is so frustrating. Disney wants you to obviously plan ahead, but they can't create a website that can manage what they are trying to do. He said that they are still in the testing phase and their has been a large increase on the number of people on the website due to all resorts now being involved in the testing phase. I'm already preparing my family that things may not go so smoothly during our trip and we may be spending lots of time standing in guest services lines. . . you would think with as much money as we are spending, that Disney could get this all fixed. As with the above poster, I'm returning to hitting my head on the keyboard now as well . . .:badpc::badpc:

Luckily when I made all of my fastpass+ reservations a week ago everything went smoothly. Like I mentioned earlier, I tried to change a day yesterday and now have reservations for 2 different parks on the same day at the same times.
I was thinking I would switch some other things around but I am afraid to touch anything and mess everything up. I think for me it's best to just leave it alone for awhile.

I agree--I wouldn't touch a thing right now. If I could just get 3 fastpasses a day for all 4 in my party to show up at each of the parks, I would be THRILLED! As it stands now, my family of 4 will need to split up and tour alone to accommodate the varying FP times and locations we currently have. Oh, and some of us have no FPs on some days . . . I guess those without FPs can just hang out at the resort pool . . .:(

I'm beginning to think that the same people that designed the Obamacare website designed the Disney website . . .

(I'm not trying to invoke a political debate or draw any flames . . . just trying to find something to laugh at so I don't throw my computer out the window.) :offtopic:

Maybe I am I minority... But the day December opened I made all my FP+ ressies on the app. The next day did magic band And some Changes on the site and last week copied all my fp+ to my brother in law one he bought his ticket with only one glitch!

I had no issues at all.

I don't think you're in the minority. I think it's that people with issues are more inclined to post than people who don't have any problems. I haven't had any issues (knock on wood) but reading all these posts sometimes worries me a bit. :)

Haha, this is so funny! :rotfl2: Just a min before reading this post, after reading the preceding ones, there was a commercial on tv to sign up on Obamacare website. This exact thought came to me then and then I read your post!! Couldn't believe it but so exactly what I was thinking! :lmao:

I should add that the problem I am having is the first one our family has had. I have had no problems with a short November trip, one of my daughters had no problems with her MB and FP+ on a trip in August, another daughter is having no trouble with an early December trip, and some in laws just got back and loved their MB and FP+.

I think it is more a matter of some bugs than a massive breakdown. Of course, that may be no consolation to the people that have problems that affect their trips.

I have one night booked onsite and have annual pass. Can I make fast pass selection past my resort stay? I thought I could and the site will not let me. Thanks in advance.
