thanks. I will keep checking on dec9th. That is the one I really wanted other than toy story. My kids have never seen fantastic and I think they will love it but I don't want to get there and hour and a half early :-(

I made FP+ and than modified my check in and got to customize my bands. So excited. I have until November 8 to change color or name.

I have FP+ showing up for BoG now on my MDE page. I'm still 70 days out so I can not use. Has anyone been able get the reservation from the main site and not having to go through the special invite?

2. How do you find the IT number to call? My disney experience has been really glitchy with my ADR's and I'd like to confirm.

I was just able to customize my magic band for our December 14th arrival. We were 59 days out from our trip as of yesterday and I was having a lot of trouble yesterday doing online check in on the MDE site. After I would go through the entire process it would give me a screen with a picture of Goofy and said "Oops.... Something went wrong. Please try again later." I tried clicking on Manage Magic Bands and it was still showing the generic what a magic band page is and link them to your account page. I also tried the Disney reservation site and was able to do online check-in and get a confirmation, but still not able to configure the bands. I just tried to do online Check in on the MDE site again this morning and got a confirmation page. Went back to the main MDE page and now the Magic Band link says "Personalize" and Viola I'm able to customize our bands. I'm really glad I was able to configure them and it does look like it's somehow tied to online check in.

But I thought you couldn't do online check in until 14 days out. Did it change?

You don't need park admission to receive MagicBands. But, you need to have park admission linked to your MDX profile in order to make FP+ selections.

Update: arriving dec 1st, I am able to pick FP+ only until dec 5th. Dec 6th and 7th are not yet selectable for me... And no MBs...

I arrive the 13 and leave the 22nd and I was able to pick all mine.

On-line check-in was extended to 60 days out.

we linked our tickets and resort reservations and were able to make fast pass selections this am but we haven't bought tickets for my brother and SIL yet and it said they needed valid tickets to make fast pass selections.

I just made FP+ selections for Dec. 6th-8th. I have not ordered MBs yet, but I checked into Pop last week.

So you have to be at the 60 day mark to get fastpass+? My check in is Dec.28. I didn't get tickets yet. Question : If I get 7 day base tickets and want to change to DVC AP when we get there, can I ? Not sure yet if we're coming back in the summer next year. Plus I want to add tickets now so I can do FP+ when available. And if we can change them do we do it before we use them or after entering the park? Thanks, getting prepared!!!

Must be different attractions. You get 3 (sometimes a bonus 4th at MK) selections at one park per day.

I made my selections then decided to change them and now it shows both the old information and the new information. I'm worried that they'll both be no good. Also on some of my selections that I changed it only shows for one person not my entire party. I'm so confused

After 20+ minutes on hold, talked to IT and they first said it was 'by invitation only' but then they checked my account and said that it's not yet open because I'm not at 60 days.

So December is now active. Testing continues with all resorts. Bands and FP+ will show up at 60 days with 28 days to make the selection for bands.

Also, you do need tickets linked in order to do FP+

I am so frustrated. Made all of our FP+ reservations for our first day, and then the system went crazy. It keeps splitting up me and my DH (our son is under 3 and doesn't have a ticket) and it won't cancel, copy or change any existing FP+ reservations. I don't know this happened, but we now have two full days of random one-person only reservations for attractions at the wrong times, that won't delete or be replaced with anything. I am scared to try to do any other days on our trip because of this, and scared to call IT because of the long waits and seemingly inability to do anything. This has taken up my entire morning.

Does anyone here have any tips? I can outline how it started going crazy if that helps.
1. I selected our three choices for our second day, and then confirmed.
2. I went in afterwards to modify the times.
3. I selected new times and hit submit.
4. On the reservation list page it showed only one reservation for either me or my husband. At no time did I remove either of us or select only one of us to make changes for during the modification process.
5. A million extra attempts to modify, cancel, copy or replace the reservations succeeds in nothing.

I am 48 days out and still can't customize MB. I thought I read somewhere here on the boards that you did not have to do on-line check-in in order to customize bands? I haven't done on-line check in because I called to add my room requests to my reservation. Can somebody please set me straight as to if I have to do on-line check in to customize???? Thanks!!!
