Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

FWIW, we check in 12/6, check out on 12/13, and have 6 day park tickets. We also already have Magic Bands from a previous stay. I'm currently able to make FP+ selections for 12/6-12/10 and 12/12-12/13. 12/14 says that we are ineligible for FP+ selection on this day.

For some crazy reason, 12/11 doesn't say anything, but will not allow me to select it and make any FP+ selections. Very weird. 12/11 is 60 days from today. I'm going to check tomorrow and see if anything changes.

What date did you get to do your mb and fp selections offered to you? I check in on 12/6/2013 thru the 14th and I still can't do anything What resort are you staying at? I'm at the Wilderness Lodge and they have not been in the testing and I also belong to the WL thread and several people have mb and fp for these days as well....but they check in in Novermber?????

This whole thing has me confused. Seems there is no rhyme or reason to who is getting them. It's like they are randomly just picking guest till the full month is released.

We are there Dec 2 one of our party has MB from a Sept trip. She can make FP we cannot.

That's good to know. So sounds like dining's 180+10. If you check in on the 6th that's within the 60 day window and it will allow you to do FP+ for your whole trip. Interesting. Except the 11th you said. I have read where it's only allowing 7 days of FP+ at a time. So that could be why. I don't know though.

just to circle back- like clockwork today 12/25 also went blue and so still rolling 60+14. Actually I have AP's and a FW Cabin cash reservation for end of December, then we move over to BW on points. So I'm thinking the FW cabin reservation is what prompts the 60+15. perhaps an AP only will get just ~60. All just speculation on my part. it will depend on the resort. Not all resorts are rolled out.
ALL resorts will be rolled out by the 20th of October

Yes I know this but it can't be only depending on that bc I've been under my 60 days and my resort is all ready rolled out. Well at least I think that it is.

I don't think it's by resort. Based on past months. It's all eligible resorts on a certain date. Like other have said usually at the end of a month.

if you look at the past few months-- the next month was rolled out around the 20th of the month.

You are basing you get to pick at 60 days--- that is all just speculation out there. Disney never said that we can pick FP at 60 days while in testing stages.

I am with you-- patience running thin as I cant seem to keep the MDE page still.

I dont see that.

I found this really interesting.

One final note - when working with Disney Technical support the last time, I mentioned that I knew of other people that got their bands at 60 days or more, and I was informed that during test there were very loose with this, but that they were locking it down to 30 days before your trip and give you 14 days to customize them. It would appear there may have been a run on folks making room/ticket package reservations JUST to get MagicBands, and then cancelling the package without penalty at the 50 day mark or so.

If they decide to begin this for December, then MB's won't be available for customization until around Nov 1st for Dec 1st check in dates. Well, I guess we'll find out soon.

that's what it seems to be for sure (also seemed there were a few december check in "mistakes" early on in the thread that then had their MB's disappear...)

In the beginning it was random. Very beginning, like over the summer random.

August and September had certain resorts chosen. So everyone checking in to those resorts for that month, were able to get them.

All resorts on site joined in the testing during October. It was scattered through the month. By October 23rd, though, ALL resorts should be included in the test.

For people checking in during November, they were notified (and when I say notified I mean they noticed on MDE that they could customize MBs)around the 20th through the 25th of September (give or take) that they were MB eligible. Official emails from Disney have been coming typically after people have already gotten their bands in the mail.

So that brings us to December. No one checking in during December has been able to customize MBs yet, or make FP+ reservations.

Except...If you already have magic bands from a prior stay during one of the other testing phases. In that case, those people are allowed to make FP+ reservations AND anyone that checks in Late November where their trip runs over into the first part of December. Those people are allowed to make FP+ as well.

Does that help clear it up any?

Hello everyone! Subscribing as well. We're checking into AoA on 12/24 and checking out on 12/31. Seeing as this is our first real family vacation and we have 4 children. I am REALLY hoping to get the MB's and FP+! Heck, I'd settle for just the FP+ at this point to assure we could ride some things.
It took me a few hours to get through this thread, but I think I got it. I'm praying they don't suspend it for December. I can see pro's and con's to both keeping it rolling and suspending it, but I guess we'll all see. I'm also a religious 4+ time a day checker, lol.
