Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I was finally able to make fast pass+ selections today. But our reservations are linked with another family going with us....it wouldn't let us make fast pass selections for everyone in our group. I am on hold now with disney. Hope they can fix this because we tried to each book our own fast passes and none of the times would match up.
Getting closer!!!!!!:cool1:

Everyone has to have valid ticket or admission linked through MDE.

You should then be able to do it for everyone, or make it for one, then copy the selections to everyone else.

Check-in date December 11, with APs already linked to MDE.
Today I was able to make FP+, and after modifying checkin could customize bands.
I was very displeased with the FP+ process. I hate that I have to plan ahead, but accepting it, I want complete control. I was forced to pick all 3 attractions at once and then accept a pre-chosen order and set of times. HATE that. I want to pick each one, see times, and choose, then the next. I want control of where I am going in order, and where I might want to have lunch. Worse, most combinations ran from AM into PM. I was unhappy that shows and parades are not available. I tried to pick only 2 of my choices for one day and it forced a third (Dinosaur, no less) into my schedule.

This stinks.

I agree with the pain in the way you have to select them, but once you have picked one of the schedules they offer and confirm the choices, you can go back into each one and change the time (or attraction) individually. As a fellow "control freak" ;) , I found that was better for putting everything when & where I wanted it.
As far as what is available, it seems like (from reading the boards) that they have not fully opened every option past the first week in December yet, including parades, shows, etc. I have seen people with trips that start in the first 7 days, but continue past that (to the 8th & beyond) comment that there are far more choices in the first 7 days than after that. So pretty sure more stuff will be added ... though when *that* happens is yet another Disney IT mystery :rotfl:
:cool2:

I went to the link above for BOG, my name comes up and it asked for our reservation # so I put in our confirmation number on my resort servation and it won't take the number. Am I using the wrong #?

You can modify the times after you pick the initial sequence and times. I had one in the AM and two very late afternoon after I changed it.

Here's hoping you feel some magic soon. pixiedust:

My menu did NOT add "customize Magicbands". I had to go to the usual "Manage cards and bands" option, and there I had a new choice to first confirm shipping address then customize bands.

I agree, I want to pick one by one, choose my time and build my itinerary as I go from start to finish. Now it does let you modify the times AFTER you choose your (forced) 3 options but if you have any conflicts you need to change the time of the one you don't want at a certain time first so you can then move your chosen one into that time slot once it opens up. LIke one of those little pocket slide puzzles.

Don't know WHO approved that design but it's a joke. I guess when you let interns from overseas do your programming this is what you get. There are much more sophisticated methods to manage this and would be so much better for us users to manage our FPs+. It really didn't need to be dumbed down for a 5 yr old to use.

Was just able to make my FP+ selections and modify the ones that didn't fit in with our plans quickly and nearly without any glitches. I say nearly because I did get one that said they were having a high something-or-other and to try again later. I tried right away and it went through.

All I need to do now is customize the Bands when it opens up! This just might work...*she said, as ominous music swells in the background*

Like PP said, you can go back in and change each attraction time, if you want. I agree, it's kind of silly to be "forced" to pick all three at the same time and have them assign you the times and not be able to pick your own.

But you do have the option to go and change each one.

Also, I know for October and November, parades and shows didn't pop up till later on as it got closer. I'm sure eventually those will show up.

Then you would just have to go in and either pick all new experiences, or change one to the parade/show you want.

The only glitch I've found with that though is, you can only change your experience to a different one at the same time.

So in order for me to get MSEP in October, I had to either change one experience to a later time or redo my entire day (which is what I ended up doing).

The system definitely needs to be tweaked and have the "bugs" worked out of it. It's nowhere near 'user friendly' yet.

The mde dropped two of the tickets. She had to but in a request to get it re added and said it would take 1-2 weeks because I am not a priority. That I shouldn't have had the option until nov 13 (30 day before my check in)
