Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

I'm at 70 days as of today and not able to do any of that. Maybe at 60 days for me.

Hearing this, and seeing people having to modify their checkin, sounds like they've now attached the check in process back to magic bands. Just an assumption of course.

My family of 4 checks in on 11/29, we already had MB and FP+ picked. Today I was able to copy the FP+ picks to my mom who checks in when we all change resorts on 12/1. I was not able to get MB for the 2nd check-in date yet.

Went back and modified check in (after seeing someone on this forum said to) and was able to pick a pin (which I couldn't before) and then MB changed to let me pick a color and name. It said I had until Nov 7 to make any further changes. Now I am more than excited. It is our first Christmas trip

Modify your check in. Putting this big so others see it

It will probably let you customize then.

I had to double check MDE this morning to make sure I wasn't dreaming about finally ordering my MBs and booking FP+'s. NOPE. LOL It's all really there! Woohoo!

Question: Can we continue touse the MB that we receive on 11/29 for my entire stay? We have 3 different resorts changes over 6 nights and I don't want to keep track of 15 different MB.

It says I can personalize my MB but when I confirm shipping address, I get an error that says to try again later. I'm sure it's because I'm Canadian but they also note that if your address is outside of U.S. we pick them up at the resort. Any other Canadian's have this issue?

Canadian here... Doing split stay at 2 DVC Properties... No problem making either set. (And kept it as home address even though I know I will have to do resort pick up.) System WAS crashing a ton last night as it was overloaded by so many people trying to log on.., could be the same this am as people discover December finally opened. I kept on refreshing and finally got it all through

Yes. You can also select different colors for each reservation so you can color coordinate if you wish.

I'll keep trying then too. I'm split staying 2 dvc properties as well but I can't seem to get past the confirm shipping address part. You're lucky you were able to do it. This is the first glitch that I've come across so it's not so bad.

I got everything linked, but can not do anything. Can't check-in, no FP+, and no magic bands. We check in Dec. 1. After reading the nightmares people are having, getting worried. I am going to call today, and see what they can do for me. We do not even want any of the big attractions at most of the parks. Would like Sorin, Text Track, Safari at AK, nothing at the other parks. I can't even imagine going to Disney and have not done any research, get there and run into this mess. I really think Disney is going to lose the "been there once" visitor. I am suppose to do a Disney class for Community Ed this winter, but at this point, I have no idea how to explain all the changes. Its just crazy.

I check in dec 10 and was able to pick fast pass + but my tickets are link to my account. Has this happened to anyone else?

I was finally able to make fast pass+ selections today. But our reservations are linked with another family going with us....it wouldn't let us make fast pass selections for everyone in our group. I am on hold now with disney. Hope they can fix this because we tried to each book our own fast passes and none of the times would match up.

Update no.3: checking in dec 1st

All fast passes selected for 7days, but the last two days I was only able to do it using the iphone app.

Customized MBs after modifying check in online(that was already done)

The only thing I wanted I could not find was FP+ for BOG lunch.

We check in on Dec7th and I was able to make fastpass+ and customize our magic bands. I had to go in and modify our check in time then the bands showed up!!

Yay. I can make selections for my December 6 - 14 trip. This is the most fun I have had in a long time with my clothes on.

Sure hoping BOG lunch opens up, though.

If BOG lunch FP opens where does it show up at? Do you just have to keep checking for the day you want? I was able to get FP+ today for our trip but no BOG showed up anywhere that I could see.

I noticed this morning that if you go to make BOG ADR, it gives you the option of FP+. I can't do it yet because I'm at 62 days, but it might work for you!

Check-in date December 11, with APs already linked to MDE.
Today I was able to make FP+, and after modifying checkin could customize bands.

My menu did NOT add "customize Magicbands". I had to go to the usual "Manage cards and bands" option, and there I had a new choice to first confirm shipping address then customize bands.

I was very displeased with the FP+ process. I hate that I have to plan ahead, but accepting it, I want complete control. I was forced to pick all 3 attractions at once and then accept a pre-chosen order and set of times. HATE that. I want to pick each one, see times, and choose, then the next. I want control of where I am going in order, and where I might want to have lunch. Worse, most combinations ran from AM into PM. I was unhappy that shows and parades are not available. I tried to pick only 2 of my choices for one day and it forced a third (Dinosaur, no less) into my schedule.

This stinks.

Hooray, can pick FP+ now. I now understand the PITA this process is after hearing others complain about it. They could have made this MUCH more user friendly for moving around the times and such of your selections instead of one at a time and preventing you from picking the same time as you are finalizing your time changes. Sheesh!! This will take some time to get 8 days all done. Good Lord!
