Anyone in December getting FP+ and MB

We check in on the 2nd. I was able to do fast passes for our whole trip.


Interesting. And they're still there? Do you have annual passes? Do you have magic bands from an earlier trip?

It would seem you're like the only person who was able to make FP+ and customize bands checking in early December and they didn't disappear. Just seems strange.


ETA... mydisneyreservation.com works great. I used that site when I did online check in for my October trip. It's the "old" site.
 

Just tried to do online check-in for my December 4 arrival. I got the same error message that everyone else has been getting, but it seems to have gone through, because where it originally said "Online check-in available" it now says "Modify check-in". Still no Magic Bands or Fastpass+ available.

I've found when I get that error message, that things really are going through. I don't know why it gives the Donald error message.

In my opinion the only possible explanation for one person being able to do it while all the others can't might be a system error...:confused3

I have tried the esc thing and was able to get to my days in the calendar and see the parks I had already added for my happy hopper days starting dec 1st , but no option to select them. And no MB either... :surfweb:

I tried mydisneyreservation.com because I am getting the error message too for my Dec. 4th check in. When I get to the site and enter my information it just pulls up my reservation. There is not an option for check in.. hmmmmm

I was able to check in, I just don't have the ability to choose fastpass+ selections.

I was able to use this site to check in, as soon as you finish it you receive a text, now all I need to do is get the mb and fp, thanks for the help.
 
Completed check-in for December 4, AKVK. The only thing that has changed in MDE is that the resort reservation details now has a link to Change Check-in, which seems like a good thing. No change to personalize MBs or make FP+s. Will keep waiting....

I've been trying to work out my UCT ticket linking issue through IT with no luck... so I'm not surprised that I can't pick FP+ or customize MBs.

Add to that the mess from when the Candlelight Processional dinner package reservations opened up, the discount scramble... and planning for this entire trip has been very time-consuming and frustrating. :sick:

I don't even know if it's going to be worth all this time and effort. Time will tell. I've tried to do everything right, play by their rules, stay up-to-date on roll-out news, paid (probably foolishly) almost full price for their flagship resort, spent hours on the phone. I may still end up spending hours at guest services trying to find my lost park hoppers in cyberspace, only to collect legacy FPs for the tiki room. We'll see.

I have a question about online check-in. I check in on December 4th at All-Star Sports, and the reservation is through my sister's Cast Member discount. Since today is my 60-day mark, I tried to do the online check-in. However, after I went through the whole process, I got a Goofy error message. Does anyone know if this possibly is related to the CM discount? Part of the process with the discount is that the CM has to go to the resort and show an ID to verify. They can do this up to 10 days prior to check-in. I know other people have said they too have gotten errors, but their check-in is still seeming to stick, because they have the option to "change check-in." Mine doesn't say that, so it's obviously not working at all. Has anyone else ever had a reservation through a CM discount before, and know if maybe this is why I can't do online check-in?

In terms of the Magic Bands and FastPass+, I'm not concerned about not being able to do it yet, but I hope I get to. At this point with everyone in November getting it, I'll be really disappointed if December arrivals don't.

I'm going to need to remember this site! I was trying to check my parents in for their October stay and it took many days of trying kept getting the goofy error. I go in early December so at least I know a backup if mde doesn't work for me
