anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Nice job on the weight losses everyone! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

My weigh-day is Thursday, so I'll have to hang in until then to find out what's going on for sure. What I do know is that I have been feeling much better about what I've been eating. :thumbsup2 Making healthier choices all around.

I've also signed up for a 12 week "Biggest Loser" program at my gym - today is day "1" of that...Adds a little more incentive to be honest when you know the rest of your team is counting on you :rolleyes1

You guys are doing awesome! Congrats! :cheer2:

I didn't lose anything this week, but I'm not surprised. I just have zero motivation lately. :confused3

I know it is about two weeks in, but I have been liurking here for a while. I am starting WW today, but doing it without the meetings and books and stuff. I have gathered all the info and I am ready!!

My biggest obstacle is that I am a server and I work odd hours. I get home at 1am and want to eat then. I have to figure out a way to keep some snacks in my apron at work. I don't really have a break or anything, so I have to be able to just eat real quick while I am ringing up an order or waiting for drinks.

The best thing that I have going for me is that I work at WDW and I can go do my walking at any of the parks. Last night my mom and I walked alot of miles, we did Epcot and then MK. There was a short break while we rode the monorail.

So, I want to jump on board! I want to lose around 50-55lbs. I am 5'5" and currently at a high of 194. I am turning 30 mext month and really want to get into shape!

Jocelyn

Does anyone know where I can find point values on food in the parks??

Wow...I'd love to be able to do my exercising in the parks instead of on a treadmill in Oklahoma. :teeth:

There was a thread awhile back about doing WW while in the parks. You might try a search for it and see what comes up.

Good luck...I'm starting today after saying I was going to start on January 1st. Better late than never, right? I've got 75 pounds to lose, so you'll be beating me to the finish line! :)

Welcome phlufster !!!:wave2:

Jump on in!!

And I have to say I am jealous!! I would love to work at WDW rather than be stuck here in Alaska!

Congrats to everyone! Welcome phlufster - we're glad to have you on board. Today was a hard day for me - we're having a snowstorm right now and we're having fun but it also brings the warm food cravings. But I did alright.

We played outside in the snow for a couple of hours and then had our traditional hot chocolate. Then we had waffles for supper - we love breakfast for supper every once and a while. Its stopped snowing right now but I think we're supposed to get more. We love the snow - good thing because we live in Maine :goodvibes.

Good luck to everyone this week. I may not be able to check in as much as I'd like this week but I'm still on the plan and hopefully will be able to exercise more!

Take Care, Joanne

Okay, what is the secret with the tickers? I can't seem to get mine to work:confused3

NEvermind I figured it out!! Just needed some more motivation actually seeing the numbers more often!

Hello ladies!!!
How is everybody doing????

So far so good today. I did steal 2 hershey kisses but otherwise stayed the course!!

I really want to lose this weight! My summer clothers are calling my name!! They haven't seen me in a few years. So if anybody sees a 6' blonde lady with long legs in a size 9 can you send her my way? I really miss her!:lmao:

Hi! Can I join? I need some accountability!

I did WW YEARS ago...but just couldn't keep motivated! Actually, my first diet was at age 5! SERIOUSLY! I remember it FULLY! The waitresses at my dad's restaurant would make me eat salads with vineagar dressing! He had a seafood rest. (on the coast of GA)...so, my love of all things fried began there!

My eating habits suck as does my motivation level! I even went so far as to travel to MEXICO to get the Lap Band...which was 3 years ago and ZERO pounds lost! I couldn't afford to keep getting it filled up (one visit to the dr was about $450). I went 6 times...nothing! So, I have decided to do it with exercise and hard work.

I am 34...215lbs and 5'5 NOW...I've done it! Admited my weight to someone other than my doctor! Hopefully now I can start to get it together!

THANKS for listening!

Beth

PS I will be RUNNING the 5K Minnie Marathon...that is my short term goal!

Welcome Beth!!
Running the Minnie Marathon sounds like fabulous motivation!!
I have a hard time staying out of sweets too! But I keep telling myself "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!". Sometimes it works. sometimes it doesn't!
Anyway, good luck and Welcome!!:wizard:

Evening ! I was just on the Restaurant forum and somebody posted a ? about points at WDW. Someone replied w/this website www.dwlz.com. It doesn't have info on disney restaurants but poster suggested using it as a comparison to come up w/points at WDW. I checked it out - its great! It lists tons of restaurants. I've never seen it before (its full of info) so I figured I'd pass it on.

Today was an ok day - feel like I'm coming down w/something. My DS7 and DD4 haven't been feeling well so I think its my turn. So I'm sticking to my points but not exercising. I probably won't lose anything this week. Plus my sister and her family are coming home this weekend and the whole family gets together (it'll be a late christmas w/them) and orders takeout!!!! We'll see how it goes.

Hope all is well with you all!
Joanne

THANKS FOR THAT WEBSITE....I just checked to see what my Chi Tea from Elliano's was...440 calories for a medium! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT??!! I am writing it down!!!!

That is a great site. I've gotten a lot of great info. from that site. It is actually mentioned on page two of this thread. If you go to page two you'll find some links to a few other good sites to check out. I also just found out that the lean cuisine website (http://www.leancuisine.com/Index/Index.aspx ) you can look up points for their frozen meals. Click on products and then click Weight Watchers in the drop down menu. I just love finding these things!!!!

Never saw it - thanks for letting me know about the other links as well. I haven't really tried Lean Cuisine - any suggestions on their meals? Actually I think I've had the Sesame Chicken - I think that was Lean Cuisine. I guess I need to check out the frozen aisle more. Especially to have something for lunches - I find lunch to be the most difficult meal.

Thanks again! Onward and downward!
Joanne

Joanne,
The Lean Cuisine Paninis are GREAT!! They are very filling as well.

I have the greatest DH. He is working on losing a few lbs. as well and he is such an encouragement to me. We really keep each other accountable. Last night as he watched me eat a choc.pudding (I reminded him it was SF/FF and only 2 pts) he said "If you don't put it on, you don't have to take it off". :rotfl: Isn't that the truth.

I just wanted to say hello to everyone on this thread. I also do WW on my own. I just 'restarted' last Thursday. I'm going to weigh myself tonight. I used to go to the meetings and was very successful....I lost about 80 lbs total. However, I have gained it ALL back since my wedding in October 2004 :guilty: I was going to rejoin WW, but similar to another member on this thread, decided to keep the money for myself. So, I am paying myself $10 a week to save for my Disney vacation this December. My preliminary goal is to lose about 80 lbs by then. It's a big goal, but I know with my own commitment and support from everyone here, I can do it. I saw someone was talking about the Lean Cuisine site, I don't know if anyone already mentioned this, but Healthy Choice also has something on their site. You can sign up for a 'challenge' and they even give you a fitness routine and food plan based on your goals. Well, I will let you all know tomorrow what my first week's result is. Wish me luck!

Well ladies I stepped on the scale today and it was not pretty:scared1:
So I broke out the WATP video and walked 1 mile:banana: It felt good to get up and moving this morning ( I was done by 9)!

Has anyone here heard the Smart ones really aren't so smart? I was reading about it in another thread and now can't find it. I like to have smart ones for lunch for the convience but if they are causing more harm.......

Well, it's a new day for me!!
