Anyone heard of way.com?

Okay, if I've done all my math correctly (which I think my excel spreadsheet would prove that I have ;) ), then it appears as though the Magic Morning will cost my family approximately $100 more (total). Doesn't seem worth it to me but this is our first time visiting DLR. We are not staying on property, so we would not get any early entry at all. But like I said, that seems like a whole lot of money for one extra hour. Any veterans able to weigh in on this and let me know if I'm missing something or if that extra hour is indeed worth the money?

I would not waste the money on mm. I would use that money toward something that means more to your family. Like a souvenir or character meal.

If that is the only consideration then yes, especially given EMH (all resort hotel guests get every MM, so my recent experience has been that MM is more crowded than it used to be).

That said, we recently were faced with this same decision and ultimately we were more comfortable buying tickets with MM, as they seem to be (and apparently are) tickets emailed directly from Disney and are identical in every way, near as I can tell, to tickets purchased on the Disney web site.

(Last year we bought tickets from Disney, via email, and this year we bought from way.com, and got what appears to be the exact same stuff, including receipts and whatnot. Haven't used the tickets yet.)

Also the X factor in our situation is that we are likely going to try to add a sixth day, and again, I didn't want to make the situation weirder than it will already be... also we might have lost any savings when attempting that upgrade, anyway.

So for us, group of six, it was worth the extra $100ish, considering that we are hoping to add day six for $90 total, and figured it was likely if we didn't pay the $100ish extra now, we'd get hit for it later and/or be told the non MM tickets were not upgradeable.

anyone use them for the Southern California city Pass recently with success? Although the savings are only $11 per person.

Thank you so much for the response! Now I'm concerned again about the tickets from way dot com without the MM. Are those not like the ones sent from Disney? I see that some people have had success with them, but I guess I'm still leery. I'm such a rule follower.

Since the tickets do not come with MM and are only usable during certain time frames, I'm thinking they must be convention tickets. They are basically the same tickets you get from Disney (and they come in the same type of email the regular tickets do) but they can only be used during that convention time frame and do not include MM.

I do not know how way.com is getting away with selling them like this but it doesn't seem to be causing any issues.

I think the non MM tix are convention tickets, too. I asked them via email and they avoided answering me. Basically skirted around the issue. Think they will continue to do it, until Disney decides to specifically contact them and tell them "no".. (It is always possible that Disney gave them permission, but highly doubtful). I have found it takes Disney a while to shut things down.

Well whatever they are I sure hope the extend out to my dates in July because we wont get up early enough for MM & am hoping to save on the 3 tickets I have to buy. I've seen them change the dates 2 times now so I'm crossin my fingers :)

Yeah, that was the other factor for us, we'll be there June 30th through July 5th and the tickets they had at the time for 5 days without MM did not include the tail end of that period...

Does the website show the valid dates for the non-mm tickets or do they just pull the offer when the date has passed?

Looks like I should have searched a bit more before posting... I found the more info tab with the dates.

Your not alone... I kept asking myself what dates are everyone talking about & then I saw the tabs after looking several times...lol

I think way.com is new and they have found a little loophole and are taking less profit/a loss on the tickets as a loss-leader marketing tool to get people familiar with way.com.

Is there any danger of the valid dates changing for the non-mm tickets so close to travel time?

I'm booked to be in DLR from June 2 - 6. One of the valid block of dates is from May 25 - June 7. This will cover my whole time there but just want to ensure the dates of those tickets won't change after I purchase them.

I'm waiting to buy in mid-May timeframe in case this does happen so I can have enough time to purchase from another site.

I do not think so. They verify your dates and print the 13 day window on the emailed voucher. I believe the dates are set for June.

Thanks for the info. I'm always a bit hesitant of new sites with the amount of money needing to be spent.

Just bought one for my mom for our upcoming Mother's Day trip. The e-ticket came from Disney, via Way. Quick and painless so far!
