Anyone heard of way.com?

I am getting ready to buy a 3 day hopper with no mm for my son.. I didn't see a place to put his name so I'm guessing it'll be issued in my name.. I already have annual passes.. does anyone know if this is going to cause problems at the gate?

You have to exchange the voucher at a ticket booth, when you do that tell them the name needs to be changed and what it needs to be changed to. Easy process.

Can this be done the day before you actually enter the park? I don't want to use a park day the day we arrive since it would be a partial day but could we walk over and get this process done before park opening the next day?

Getaway today will match the prices listed on way.com. You need to call and speak with an actual person because they look it online and then give you the way.com price. I didn't add the insurance, but I bet they still would. Best of both worlds. :)

I have received my 2 non MM Park Hoppers for my daughter and her friend. Although I was required to give a name (and I gave hers) a name is not printed anywhere on my tickets.

One of my park pet peeves is people not being ready or having bad info when at the gates with a bunch of people behind them that do have their stuff together properly :-) Don't want to become one of those.. lol

When they email you asking for your name and date, let them know you're child's name that will be using the ticket so you don't have to bother with the ticket booth.

Honestly, I think these way.com w/o MM tickets are probably too restricted for your comfort. Not only do they expire, but those particular (cheapest) ones are only good for a particular two week period that you choose when you buy. Maybe you are better off going with getawaytoday where for $10 you can insure your purchase. You don't save as much, but you don't risk as much. You could wait until you get there & pay full price, but I'm worried about a price increase.

Thank you! I am also thinking about the price increase as well. It is inevitable .

Is there a discussion about getaway today so I might understand how these tickets work?

In my DL research it seems that DL tickets all come with an expiration date, for example tickets purchased now expire 12/31/13. These are tickets bought direct from Disney. This causes concern as if we had to cancel last minute would we just be out of luck on those tickets?

Although it's not stated on the tickets or web site, their unofficial policy has always been to credit you the cost of the tickets. So if you bought tickets with an expiration of 12/31/13 and couldn't make it to DLR before the end of the year, you wouldn't lose everything. Typically, the prices will have risen, and you'll have to pay the difference between what you paid for the expired tickets, and the new price for the tickets when you actually get there.

HTH,
Bob

Thank you- that is exactly how it works at WDW as well. I was concerned as I didn't remember ever seeing an expiration on any WDW ticket with the exception of an AP. I thought the unofficial policy might have been different. This information changes my plan- I will eventually go to DL so the tickets will be purchased in advance. Thanks again.:)

I just tried this and the woman told me she would not match the price..:( Said there were several bad reviews about them on the internet as well and to be carefull.. I'm getting pretty close to my trip (as you all can see below i'm sure ;)) and getting really anxious now about purchasing the tix on way.com for that discount.. ugh.. I wanna save money where I can but just nervous.. Anyone else seeing any negative reviews or is everyone having pretty good success with purchasing these tix??

This is what I am wondering. We aren't going to beginning of Sept, but keep looking at way.com in order to purchase tickets and it would be the SoCal City pass also.

Anyone that have used these, let me know. We will be going to Universal first, in case that helps! :)

I didn't make the purchase. By the time I was going to do it, the price increased. So we decided to purchase thru the Sea-world site to take advantage of the extra free day there. We are starting our trip in San Diego.

Hey there. Just reporting back. Our 4 day parkhoppers w/o MM worked like a charm. No problems at all!

This is exactly what I've been waiting to hear! Think I'll be buying the tickets w/o MM, but hadn't seen anyone report back that those worked. Why oh why can't I just pull the trigger?!? Leaving in 17 days!!

Ordered 3 day park hoppers with no magic morning last night on way.com around 10:30 PST. Got the e-mails back asking for my address, arrival date etc. within minutes. The tickets arrived in my inbox today around 1:30 P.S.T. Tickets came from Disney Online and have Sully on them. Way.com forwarded them about 15 minutes after receiving them.

We are going to Disneyland on Friday so will let you know if they work... I sure hope they do, that would not be fun after a 9 hr car journey! :drive:
Does anyone know what time Way.com's customer service phone line stays open till?

If all is good we will have saved $82 for the 2 of us! :cheer2:

So I have been following this thread and the Orbitz one, trying to get some discount on my park tickets for July. I finally bought from Orbitz, and here's why:

Adult price for a 5-day PH at way w/o MM is $240. I got close to that ($246) at Orbitz by buying a 4-day with 1 day free for $275 with double E-bates (10.5%). That's close enough, even if we don't use the MM, to not have to bother with the extremely restricted dates, and the concern, sorry, that the ones from way w/o MM are convention tickets and I can't prove I'm registered for the convention.

I'd never used Ebates before, but it was very simple. You can start at

HTH.

Is it me or are the 3 day no magic morning hoppers gone today? I can't find them anymore.

Just got back from DL. We used way.com for 2 2-day hoppers (no MM). Worked as advertised and had no problems at all. We ordered about 3 days before we were to head down and got the tickets in about a day. That might be cutting it a bit close, tough. You don't save much on the 2-day hoppers, but saving is saving. :thumbsup2

Unless I am missing something, I no longer see any park hoppers being sold without MM either. Wonder if they were indeed selling convention tickets and Disney finally stopped them from selling them? Hmmm...

After reading people's success with the tickets, I bought the 3 day park hopper w/o MM so will see how it all goes. I am going on June 12th and will reply back with my findings :)

For those concerned with them no longer selling these.. I just chatted with the online representative and was assured that any tickets bought prior to their "running out" will be o.k. and that they should have more of the 3 day hopper w/o MM soon. :thumbsup2
