I changed last night to TSMM, RnR, and ToT. All 3 worked without issue today and I even changed times on them in the park this morning. Going forward who knows.

Why would the FP+ rules risk your thousands of vacation dollars? Do you need to have several FP per day or ride TSM, Soarin', or TT multiple times per day or your entire vacation is a waste of money?

And what if it was...this drives me nuts on these threads...if a guest wants to do nothing but ride certain rides, it is THEIR vacation! If another guests want to sit on a bench and people watch than they should be allowed to do that without criticism on on how to vacation

Great news! I rebooked the headliners during the window and will be bringing printouts to the parks just in case in a few days.

I'm not going to get too excited about rumors of possible tests of something that may or may not reflect a final product.

But, in terms of my first choice for a final product, if they ever allow guests with advance reservations to also get some FPs same day (which I expect), I don't think that availability should be contingent on using your reserved FPs.

As you point out, this approach could create a demand for morning spots from guests who want to use up 3 FPs as soon as possible so they could get more. But, that strategy would run the risk of getting MORE FPs that would be less valuable in terms of the length of the lines skipped.

For example, if you choose FPs for the 3 mountains at 9-10,10-11, and 11-12 you could use those and then try to get a 4th FP as soon as you get through the last one. But, especially at a busy time, the selection of FPs might be limited, and you would have used up your 3 reserved ones at times when the standby lines would not have been that long.

I would prefer a system that would allow everyone with advanced reservations to get more for same day use, regardless of whether you have used the others. The availability of those extras could be controlled by things similar to the paper system, like no more than one every 2 hours.

It will be interesting to see how this develops.

Wis, I totally agree with you here.

We generally disagree with the + - of the current FP ... but here, we very much agree.

I am not sure if I agree that they WILL allow more same day ... but IF they do, totally agree, well thought out logic.

Couldn't agree more.

I haven't seen anyone in the Anti-FP+ camp tell someone they are "wrong" because they enjoy the scenery of WDW, or don't care that much about rides. I HAVE seen them say "ok, that's great for you, but that's not what I want" .... to be fair I have poked fun at a couple people who have said "hey you are spending time with your family, that is worth it alone" ... because, that's clearly ridiculous, you are going to WDW for a reason beyond simply spending time with your family



I HAVE seen MANY people in the pro-FP+ camp tell people who want to ride rides that they are essentially stupid or narrow sighted because they like rides ... that there is "so much more" to WDW than rides, and that FP+ ISN"T and issue because WDW is more than that so their perspective isn't valued.

There were lots of glitches yesterday apparently. You could change your existing FP+ with no tier limitations, and you could more than 3 if you used up your 3. There might have even been others. But is seems to be "fixed" for now.

So glad I read this thread, was able to use this glitch to my advantage at HS and Epcot! Soarin' and Test Track on the same day!
