Anyone having trouble getting into my disney experience

Thanks to everyone for all the great information!!! I'm in the same boat here. Even better, I was right in the middle of making dining reservations for our split stay when they did the update. So, the first half I did online and then *poof* everything was gone (not visible). Thankfully, I had seen this a day or so before so I knew not to completely panic. All my info was still on the App but MDE was like a brand new account. I called to make my dining for the second half of our trip and it went fine and I was even able to link it to my reservations on the App but still nothing in MDE. The CM told me just to wait a couple days and it might self-correct. I waited a week and still nothing so I called today. The IT CM was very helpful and sent me a password reset and stayed on with me until I logged back on and all my info was there. I think my issue was a DVC account with a user name and a MDE account with my e-mail as a log in. In any event, I really think if you are having problems with MDE you'll have to call. It won't resolve itself without technical support if you have more than one account or a password that is non-compliant with the new update. (He told me current passwords have to have at least one capital letter, one number and a character). I wish the website didn't have these problems, but they fixed it quickly and the CM was very nice and assured me it wasn't me (which I knew from everyone here!). I called the (407) 939-7765 number, pressed the number for technical support, had a hold time of 10 minutes and it was fixed within another 10.

I found my MDE web account locked out this evening but the app worked fine. Luckily, I had seen this thread, although I hadn't read it yet. I had to make the call and spend 15 minutes with a CM to fix this issue. I know Disney has people that reads these boards... So to them, I'd like to say what an idiotic implementation of an update this is! I am astonished at how poorly this was all done, it felt like amateur hour. Disney loves to talk about their excellence...well there was no excellence to be found in the way they managed this update.

It was misbehaving for me yesterday, and I hoped it was just a one day thing. Reading this now makes me realize it's been going on for a while, grrr. I'm trying g to check in online so we can skip the line, looks like everyone is having the same issue.

For me it went down a couple of days before we arrived at Disney on 9th November. It worked on my daugher's phone (Android) but not on my laptop or my iPhone. I spent the first few days of our trip relying on DD to remind me when our FPs were but then read about the technical hitch and rang IT from our OKW villa. It took a good 15 minutes and two attempts before the account was sorted out.

It was caused by the software update, which most of you know by now, but did you know it mostly affected people with more than one Disney account? I have a DVC account and the MDE. I could get into my DVC account but not the MDE one!

So, I only actually had use of MDE for our last 3 days. I should have rung IT earlier, but we were busy and didn't have time. It also occurred to me that while my inclination was to say what the hell, we'll be home soon, it did occur to me that I needed to get it fixed or it would prevent me planning any future trips!

I made my ADRs on Sunday and the site was continually crashing as I attempted to reserve. I found that when I would receive the "error message" or "Someone Ate the Page", clicking the refresh button pushed the transaction through to the next page. I had to do this on the booking screen, payment screen and confirmation pages. Booking the ADRs became quite tedious and more lengthy a process than it should have been thanks to the dysfunctional website. On the bright side, I received email confirmations for each and every ADR. Email confirmations were not consistently sent for our last couple of trips.
I never hit the refresh button on any page that has payment info, due to the real possibility of being charged twice.

Since it was the dining page where it was only entered to secure the ADR, that wasn't a big concern. :)

Something has been up with the site, no matter what computer or browser I use some pages are caching so it looks like I'm on the site but it's old information and I'm not logged in. I also have had a horrible time finishing a reservation online. Actually, I couldn't ffinish it online and after a couple days I called. I still need to make 1 more room reservation for march and i'm leaning on not staying onsite because I don't want to call them up and try to fix the booking mistakes on the website that wouldn't let me make a reservation in the first place.

It worked for me later this AM, but nothing I had done the day before was saved. And none of the updates to the account were saved either, which is fine. I didn't want to change my email or password anyway, and it kept asking me to!

I can't get into my page at all today...it says I have the wrong login or password, which I don't..... what's up?

tried firefox and chrome...nothing- on firefox I tried resetting password -they sent a link which took me to the main disney page...so nothing.

I tried to log into my MDE account this morning. It asked me two security questions which I answered. It then took me to a new MDE account. Only me, no avatars, no family.......and most importantly, all my reservations, tickets, and itineraries were missing. I did a quick search and found this thread. I called the number listed upthread. I pushed the "3" for technical support. I waited about 7 minutes on hold before a technician came on. He asked for some basic information and then said that I had multiple accounts linked to my login/password including a DVC account. He could see that one of them was just created this morning. He went in and deleted the new account and made sure that my log in and password linked to my "old" MDE account. It worked. He then offered that due to some security updates a lot of people were experiencing this same problem. He also said that the fact that I also had a DVC account was part of the issue. I got the impression that this was not something I could have fixed on my end. It required a call.

Anyway, THANKS to you on this thread I didn't panic when all my info was gone!!

No trouble w/ MDE so far recently, hopefully there won't be

I'm thankful for this thread. It kept me from panicking! I had the same issue...kept saying wrong login/password then on one of the attempts, it asked me to create a new password, which I did. When I went back into my account, everything was gone!! :guilty: Thankfully, I jumped right on here to see if anyone else had the same issue and saw this thread. I called the number, waited 4 minutes (a small miracle) and the gentleman that helped me was phenomenal. He knew exactly what I was talking about (so it must be quite common right now) and fixed it within minutes. I now have my original account and all of my reservations and fast passes are there. Whew!!!

Weirdly, despite getting tech support to fix it the other day, the site refused to recognize my password and made me reset it when I tried to log in today.

So, just to be on the safe side, I've gone and printed hard copies of all my reservations and FPs. :)

I've been down for several days even after calling in about this (was told that my acct issue needed to be escalated and that someone would call me back--it's been a couple days and it hasn't happened yet). Has anyone received any type of compensation for this problem? I was advised by the IT guy to email Guest Services. I was wondering if it'd be worth it at all. They must know that there is a problem by now.
