Anyone having problems calling through to disney today

Hi I have been calling disney all day and i cannot get through all i hear is dead air, is anyone else having this problem.

Free dining offer started today. I was on hold for an hour this morning at 7 when they opened.

I finally got through and was told wait time is 90 mins. I'm sure the system will knock me out way before then.

I skipped calling the call center, cancelled my current reservation and re-booked with the offer.

I had a standard room at riverside but now only royal standard rooms and it is more expensive. Good idea though. Did you stay with the same resort?

My TA is working on moving me and my kids to CSR......I had three room pkgs at Riverside. She jumped on it this morning trying to move us to WL but no rooms available. She was able to change one room to CSR on site then it crashed. She is currently on hold......she was told hold time is 2 I/2 hrs!!!!!

I can't get mine to go through online for some reason.

I tried unsuccessfully a few times, then realized I could modify my reservation online. I was able to apply the room-only discount to my existing reservation. Not sure if it works for modifying a package.

The phone lines have not been working all day. Right now I have two reservations for the same dates because I can not cancel online as well. Im hoping tomorrow I can call and cancel one of the reservations over the phone or the website is working again.

I couldn't modify online (tried when I was on hold). My hold time was 1 hr, 42 mins. I was trying for the room discount since FD not in my time window. Room discounts already gone for my trip. For the same price CM could have moved me to the Grand Floridian which would have been awesome if we hadn't picked BC specifically for F&W. Maybe next time.

Tried for a few times and finally got through around 4pm with a 3 minute wait. The representative said I was the first person all day that hadn't called to book free dinning

I don't bother with the phone lines anymore. I go online and book the discounted room. If I already had a reservation, I cancel it after I have the new one booked. Sometimes I can get it cancelled same day, sometimes it happens the next day. But I have always been concerned that waiting on the phone to modify an existing reservation would cost me when it comes to available rooms. Today I didn't have an existing reservation though - so I just booked a new one. I'm happy and looking forward to YC in September!
