Anyone have Verizon Wireless?

What do you guys mean when you say billing issues? Just wondering if it is problems with over min. charges or other things.

Still hoping that someone that had billing issues could shed some light on what kind of issues they were.

I've had verizon wireless since 1994, they were cellular one here then, and have had very few problems at all. we live in the boonies and dropped calls and reception are not bad. my husband is a farmer, works in far fetched fields, no problems, when i have experienced billing issues a simple phone call always got me credited and an apology, even when it might have been partially my fault.....i love the no roaming plan and have three phones on the amercias choice plan, 900 minutes total bill 80 bucks.....

We just dumped Cingulair. Gabby had her account with them for over 15 years, but they just plain stink when it comes to customer service and the phones we had were horrible at maintaining signal. We paid our way out of the contract.

So, we now have the enV phones with Verizon. The customer service has already outshined Cingulair. The phones have great signal strength and I have not yet dropped a call, except when we were on one side of a mountain in NC at the bottom of a ridge......which is acceptable to me. In their defense, the phone picked up in many other areas on the mountain, which is far better than Cingulair's coverage in that area.

I am very please with Verizon, better plan, cheaper plan, kickin' phone, and great customer service. :thumbsup2 Maggie

We have had them for over 4 years, everyone has a seperate line, no rollovers, but the service is good/drop rate is good, not very often.

:dance3: :dance3:

MCO Here I come!:yay: :yay:

Has anyone heard rumors about being able to use the direct connect/push to talk feature with all companies?

I can't see why this hasn't happened yet. I just can't convince DH to switch because of that. Darn phone companies...hurry up and get er done...

I'd love to switch to Verizon but might have to wait!

Edit: I did find this website, which is helpful if someone commented on service in your area http://www.cellreception.com/coverage/pa/

I'm thinking the $500 - $600 price tag for the iPhone is going to turn some people off too! I mean, its a phone for pete sake!!! And you want me to spend how much? :lmao:

If you ask my techie husband, he'd gladly shell out the bucks. I on the other hand, think it's crazy. But of course it is supposed to do everything but your dishes....

Hmmm...will it do my laundry? I might consider it? I already own a dishwasher anyway so it doesn't need to do the dishes.

I wish I could help you with that, but my billing issues were with Cingular, not Verizon. (I posted about them...I think it's on pg. 2). Hopefully someone else can help you out!!

Everyone, please comment on cell phone coverage in your area on this website: http://www.cellreception.com/coverage

Enter your zip code to see if reviews are posted...then post yours as well.

It may be helpful to someone who is thinking about switching and may be handy for you as well if you ever want to switch companies.

Have another quick question...

Thought about getting the family share 2100 plan for $109.99

I noticed that you can get unlimited text and pics for $10 a month and get a bonus 500 minutes. Is that 500 a month and does it count as cell phone minutes or just text messages?

In that case, it's a better deal to go that route. Purchase the 1400 plan for $89.99 get the $10 feature with bonus 500 minutes for each phone. Cost would be $109.99 for 2400 minutes.
