Is the Bounce Back deal only for Free Dining time? We are going in August 2009 and wondering if we could ask about this. We plan to go to Disney next year too (2010) and a Bounce Back deal sounds great...if anyone could give me more details about it, I would greatly appreciate it!

I was wondering about this too. We are also going in August 2009 and booked the bounceback last year. I wonder if it would be the same because the "new" free dining only offers the quick service dining for value resorts. I hope that this isn't the case for next summer. If it is, then we will be at a moderate instead of the All Stars.

I'm not sure what you mean, maybe I am confused. I am staying at POP during free dining in Sept 09 and we got the standard dining package.

I would also like information on bouncebacks. Is there a FAQ thread or something about it? I wanted to know specifically, what do you have to give as a deposit when accepting the offer prior to check out?

I see now what the PP was referring to, with the extended free dining into December. Man, I hope they don't make that the rule from now on... :( That would suck.

That's not it. The bounceback is the offer that you receive while at Disney to book your trip for the following year. For example, when I was at the All Star Music last August 2008-they had little flyers on the tables in your room with an offer of free dining if you booked your trip for the following summer (which is now 2009). I had to leave a $200 deposit last year in order to book the bounceback package for this year.

Last year's bounceback for August/September was the free dining package. I knew that we were going to back again in August of this year, so I went ahead and booked it-basically guaranteeing myself free dining-just in case they did not offer it this year. I would really like to book the bounceback (if there is one) for next summer (2010) because I am worried that they will only offer free QS dining next summer with the value resorts-since that is what they did with the extended package for the fall. I hope that makes sense!

Last year we did the Bounce Back offer when we were down in September. Last year we were staying at POP and the offer was for the last two weeks of August until the end of September. I just found last years offer when cleaning the other day and it was $54 a night plus free dining for POP or if we wanted to upgrade to moderate it was $74 a night plus free dining. We upgraded and are staying at POR. We are going from Aug 30 thru Sept. 6:yay::banana::yay::banana::yay::banana::yay::banana::yay::banana:

We got back from AK lodge Friday. The bounceback was for discounted room, it was actually less than the room only that is out now.

I just got back from the Beach Club and there wasn't any bounceback information in the room, and the front desk didn't have anything either. :sad2:

Maybe it's only for Moderate and Value priced rooms, or it's too early. I was there in late Sept last year. This year will be the first week. If I get any info before you go, I will post it!:thumbsup2

Sorry, I didn't read it, but I did notice there was a bounceback offer thingy in our room at the Wilderness Lodge the first weekend of July. :)

We probably will not hear about any 2010 bounce back until free dining starts this year. I think the first day is August 16th 2009 for this year's free dining, is that correct?

Just today I SWORE to my DH that I would NOT book a bounceback for next year for Aug.!

We have traveled in August (headed again soon) but have found that a Mid year Mar/april break really works better for us. Makes the school year seem shorter, a nice break, but we've not done disney that time of year in ages...

I am finding that we are in "waiting" mode for Summer to END, just so we know its Disney time....I feel like we're wishing our summer away...and I LOVE the summer and sunshine, so NOPE, NOPE NOPE, I will NOT book a bounceback for august next year.........its gonna be hard!
Our 2010 plan so far is a quick trip to Poly in Oct, so I still will get my "fix" :lmao:

I had a short trip this past weekend. There was a bounceback deal on the desk for 40% off rooms...but it was only select dates through the end of 09.
