Anyone have any pics, I'm throwing myself a pity party.......

I related to your post so much!LOL! This time last year we took our girls for their first trip to Disney (I'd been numerous times prior to our having children).... we were there from Dec. 4-11 last year and had a great time. DH won't let us return until the girls are 5 and 7 (Oct. 2007 probably) so I'm having a big Disney withdrawal this week.... LOL! :Pinkbounc Here's a couple of pics from last year......

...he proposed to me in front of the castle at night under the twinkling lights in Disneyland...I thought he was starting to "warm up" to Disney but I was wrong!

you have to remind him that there is a federal law ...that if your propose to someone at WDW or Disneyland, you must return to Disney property on a yearly basis, unless the person proposed to, signs a waiver each year..

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: You have no idea how many times I have said that to him! :rotfl2:
His idea of a holiday is going to Hawaii and laying on the beach all day tanning or snorkeling---not exactly action packed if you ask us! Now Rock n' Roller Coaster is our idea of fun!
,,

so go to WDW and tell him he can tan while you go to the parks with your kids...

What adorable pictures!! I would try the line "We have these adorable girls that characters are just dying to have their picture taken with! It's just not fair to the characters to keep them away from WDW until 2007!!" ;) :rotfl:
By the way, where were these pictures taken? We only saw Snow White in a parade, my little girl would have loved to have seen her at a character breakfast!

We have some fabulous beaches here in Florida!! Maybe you guys could do a half and half trip, half Disney/half beach? Do the Disney part first though so he has his half to look forward to and hopefully won't fuss as much.

I am lucky that even though my DH isn't the biggest WDW fan, he likes it enough he will go every couple of years. Now, he learned long ago that just because he wasn't going to go, it wasn't going to stop me and I went as many as five times in one year from Seattle. But he actually likes us to go as it gives him time to play video games with no interruptions from any of us. Now that I am in Florida, I told him if we ever get to the point we can afford for me and the kids to go once a month, well, he'll know where to find me.

Only the first trip was a bit scary. The rest.. everyone knew the drill.
I agree... Me and DD 7 went in September by ourselves.. I was so nervous, but after getting to the airport and making our way around when it was time to come back home I had no problems.. not scary after the initial trip there.. Im looking forward to going in May.. My bf is happy cruising.. we started cruising in 2002 and go on 2 cruises pretty much every year.. so when I mentioned going to WDW in May, he doesnt want to.. he wants to go on another cruise.. dont get me wrong, I LOVE cruising but I LOVE WDW too and I wished he would try other stuff, but he doesnt like Disney.. so thats why I decided that Im going either way.. Id love for him to go, but Im not going to not go because he wont..

Perhaps I could convince him that he would have a nice quiet house all to himself for 7 days---instead of wasting energy trying to convince him that we should go on another trip to WDW, I could convince him how nice it would be for HIM to stay home and "relax" and let us go!!

But I thought part of the problem was the long drive with your kids who were scared to fly?

In any event, that method has worked quite well over the years for me as I said. :)

My responses are "tongue in cheek", you know teasing. :teeth: It would be nice if a quiet house would be incentive enough for us to go but it wouldn't be so I make "light" of it!
Like light-heartedly asking if someone knew where to get "Disney" contracts----they're all great suggestions but I know it will never happen!
