Anyone have an old iPod Nano? If so, read this.

Mine has been pending since Jan. 14th.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. It seemed they were sending replacements quickly last month and now it's really slowed down.

I don't think there's any rhyme or reason regarding the replacements. I filled out the online stuff for mine the middle of November, waited weeks for the box (which turned out to be an envelope) which I sent back immediately and just got the new Nano about 10 days ago.

So I went on to the apple site to send an email regarding the status of my repair, because it still says pending, and it was sent back in November. I haven't received a word about it yet. What the heck?!?! NOWHERE is there an email address to be found. There's we'll call you, you call us, you schedule a time for us to call. Well, I don't want to call and wait on hold for an hour, only to talk to someone that doesn't speak english. I want to take ten seconds and send an email. Why is that so difficult? Sigh.

I actually had one of those, gave it to my mom after i got my iPhone. I got it from her and sent it in. Apple received it Jan 14. Says "replacement pending" still...


I read somewhere, (on Apple's site) it could take up to 6 weeks to get the replacement.

Mine was received on Jan. 10 and listed as product pending also. Maybe they don't have enough silver to send out and we will get different color. Wishful thinking!

same here! I still haven't received anything. I sent mine back in november. Well, I think it was the first of december. Mine has said pending since the 11th. Getting kind of annoying now.

Status finally changed to product replacement shipped!!

I did mine in Dec, got a shipping conf. email Monday or Tuesday and my new nano came in on Thursday morning.

It's a current gen silver 8g. So the square one that's slightly bigger than the shuffle. In fact my mom liked it so much she went out and bought my stepdad one to replace his shuffle for his birthday. So I guess Apple made a sale on that replacment.

My order said pending the entire time. Until I got the email I had no idea they even were processing it.

I got mine yesterday. They left a note on my door because no one was there, but they saw that my car was there on the way out and decided to see if anyone was home- I was glad they did!

nope they are replacing the unit which was defective your charger wasn't defective (about crazy old now) so they are in no obligation to replace it.

Mine arrived yesterday. I synced it w/itunes stuff and gave it to my mom today, she was thrilled.

They received it on 1/14 I had the unit in hand on 3/1.

Yes it was the iPod ONLY that came, no charger, headphones etc... It was just a trade out for the device itself, you are supposed to keep the original accessories.

Mine came a couple of days ago. Got an email that morning that said it was shipping and surprisingly it came that day! Loving my cute new ipod.
