Anyone have American Express The Blue Cash Everyday card?

We usually use our Disney Visa for purchases so we can get gift cards to use on our annual/semi annual Disney Trip. I REFUSE to pay an annual fee to use ANY credit card so the upgraded card was not for us.

I just got an offer in the mail today from American Express for the Blue cash Everyday card that has no annual fee. (Interest rate doesn't matter as we never carry a balance). The offer is for $250.00 cash back after making $1000.00 in purchases in the first 3 months (not a problem) and then 3% back at supermarkets, 2% at gas station and department stores and 1% on everything else.

This sounds like a much better deal then what we get with Disney Visa. Here are my questions:

Do most places accept American Express and will I be able to redeem my American Express rewards gift cards at Disney? (As these will replace my Disney Visa rewards gift cards).

Thanks in advance.

On Creditboards.com a lot of people really enjoy that card...my only hold up is amex isn't as widely accepted here. I instead have the Bank of America Cash Rewards. No annual fee, and you get 1% back on everything, 2% on grocery stores and 3% on gas stations. Also you can redeem the rewards right off your statement as a credit.

I've been using that card for years. I like it. Occasionally a place doesn't accept AmEx so you have to be prepared for that. Most places online and IL where I live do; but I notice when I travel to WI a lot of smaller places don't accept it. Not sure about the Disney rewards.

I use the Blue Cash for everything. Plus after $6500 in charges you get 5% on gas and groceries. I don't have the answer to your specific question though. I always just get the cash back. My other cc is the Southwest Visa. I use that for places which don't take AMEX, which isn't many. I reccomend Blue Cash to everyone.

Thanks. This card is starting to sounds like a good option. Do most stores in DTD take Amex?

Since you posted this, I looked at the Amex website. The Blue Cash "Preferred" also looks like a good option. I hate to pay a $75 annual fee, but you get 6% back at supermarkets. You could buy gas station gift cards(along with other kinds of gift cards) at the supermarket and save 6% on gas that way. I might have to consider this one, after I read all the fine print.

Your $250 cash back offer is a GREAT offer! They are only offering $100 cash back on the "Everyday" card on the Amex website.
