I just bought a new coffee maker - a Black & Decker Smartbrew. It makes great coffee and I don't need paper filters. 
But I just realized, I didn't use it right. I was supposed to replace the hinged pot cover with the non-hinged one while brewing - but when you do that - the stupid pot gets too tall to fit.
Am I a moron or what?
If you have this coffee maker - tell me what an idiot I am and straighten me out.
