I am in need of a new pair of running/walking shoes...and wondering if anyone has any review of teva/ecco shoes? This most likely will be a multipurpose pair of shoes..one I wear just about anywhere when I feel like wearing sneakers...and also one that I will take to Disney next year....

Thanks!

I love Ecco's! They are worth every penny. I got my first pair when I was pg w/DD 8 years ago and haven't been w/o a pair since.

Teva's are incredible. My feet NEVER hurt when I wear them and they are great durable all purpose shoes. I have been wearing my sandals for over 2 years and they don't show wear!
I wear them to the parks, it doesn't matter if they get wet. Just buy the more expensive cushy sandals~not the hard stiff bed ones, but they make cushy nicer ones for about $80.00. I don't remember what they are called, but you can tell the difference if you look at them on their website.
The straps hold your feet great~your feet don't slide around or get blisters. I love my Teva's:cloud9:

I have had both and both are good shoes.

For me Ecco shoes are better then Teva's. I think a lot depends on your foot, but like Nicolepa I am a fan. I have about five pairs ranging from dress, to boots to sandels...... I wear them for all my Europe trips where I walk more then even at Disney on uneven roads etc. Never had a blister or a problem.

Teva's did not do as well for me on a long wear basis.

LOVE my Teva sandals, the waterproof leather are better(more comfy) than the webbing style, but I wear them to death once it gets warm enough here. The webbing style has the microban in them, so won't get stinky (in theory) ..anything is possible though.

I've had both and thought they were fantastic - until I got my Keens! It took me awhile to wrap my head around the way they look - but now I love them (no, I still can't do Crocs!). Check the Keens out - they have a ton of different styles and they are so comfy. My husband has had his for 2 1/2 years and they are just starting to show wear. Good Luck!
