without an ADR?

Just curious if any posters have had success attempting this (or no success, as the case may be!). What time was it? There are some restaurants that seem more amenable to walk ups than others but I am unsure where 1900PF stands. I certainly understand it isn't a guarantee that because you have, I will be.

We'd be showing up around opening.

I will keep trying to get an ADR there (and 'Ohana, but we'd prefer 1900PF). We are flying in a day earlier than originally planned because airfare was much cheaper and now we have this meal opening. Our first meal muuuuuuuussssssst be with characters. (J/K. Ok, no, I'm not. Though it won't be the end of the world, it would be nice!)

I haven't, but then we've never tried.
I will say I think your making the right move by being there right when it opens, you might wait a bit but I'm pretty sure you'll get it. If you were doing dinner I would say your best bet would be to not even try, it's almost impossible to get in even with ressie's these days.
And if your late getting to the breakfast as it opens, don't even bother until about 10:45, this is when people are starting to drift out to get to the parks and the tables really start to open up. Then you'll almost have the place to yourself. :goodvibes

Shhh, Camille, those late breakfast seatings at 1900PF are a best-kept secret! :)

Well, after checking two times a day for a month and the very day after posting this, I got my 1900PF ADR. So no attempting a walk up for me!

I wouldn't count on tables opening up after10:45. We had an 11:05 ADR recently and they were running over half an hour late at this point. There is no lunch served here so while we were eating, tables that were emptying out were not be refilled. Those late breakfast ADRs are no longer the huge secret they used to be.

Maybe you show up at least half an hour before they open for dinner that you'd get seated.
