I've never been. Wave hi if you're there. Lol

What should I expect? What goes on?

We went to our first one last week and I really enjoyed it. They have snow as you enter. There are character meet and greets (Santa Goofy and Pluto together and Mickey and Minnie in holiday sweaters), craft activities, a DJ/dance floor, apple cider, hot chocolate and everyone gets a treat (cookie or rice krispy treat). It was really cute! You also get an ornament as you leave.

Have fun!

We'll be there, and as in the past, many of the DIS people tend to head back to the far left side of the auditorium. We'll be there waiting soon after opening, so some looking for us! I usually wear a bright green Mickey somewhere if it hasn't been lost by then.

We'll be there! Are the characters everywhere? Is there a place to keep away from them?I know it sounds strange but my son has has autism and likes them from afar but not too close. He loves crafts and cookies, music, etc so I think he'll like it but not if the characters are too close to him.

I wear a Santa Hat....maybe Tom will be wearing his, too!

We have noon ADR at MK and will head for Epcot right after the meal!

I think I'll recognize you, Bobbi without the hat! :)

DH and I are going! Afterwards we're eating at V and A, so we'll be a little dressed up. I'm planning on a red sequinned top and dressy black pants, and DH will be in a sport coat (well, slacks, too). But following Bobbiwoz, we may add our Tink and Grumpy hats! I also picked up a Santa hat from the Dollar Tree store that has Mickey and Minnie on it and isn't as hot a my Tink hat. :santa:

Yep, I plan to be there! I may wear my light blue Tinkerbell santa hat.

DH and I will be there. We already had Epcot planned for that day but our lunch ADR is at 1:40 (in Canada) so we might be a little late.

We've gone once before and it was outside of Epcot International entrance so you didn't need to use an admission ticket to attend.

We will be activating our annual passes we purchased last year so it isn't a problem for us.

Thanks for the link! I can't wait. It seems silly to be excited about something so simple, but I am. 8 more days!!!!!

Thanks for the link! My kids are in the picture with all of the children lined up :)

Do you need to be there for the entire time to get the ornament? We have lunch reservations at 2 and then the Candelight Processional at 5. I'd just like to stop in for a quick look around, pick up a treat to save for later, and if the line isn't too long a picture, then pick up the ornament and head on our merry way.

No, you can come and go at any time and still get the ornament. We dropped in about 30 minutes after the event began, filled out the slip for a chance at the gift basket, picked up our treat, had a glass of cider/hot chocolate and then left. We were there about 15 - 20 minutes. We also had other plans for the late afternoon and evening.

I don't stand in line for the pictures anymore since I learned that Disney Photography does them instead of the Photopass people. IMO, Disney Photography charges WAY TOO MUCH and there are plenty of other places to get pictures taken with the characters.
