Anyone going in next fortnight and NOT got tickets yet?

We are going in 13 days (almost 12) and haven't received our tickets from Virgin yet. I know they only send them out a fortnight or so before so I'm not panicking yet. Just wondering, though, if anyone else going around the same time is still waiting on their tickets?

we booked flights with virgin and we got E-tickets no paper tickets issued its the new way of doing it. you get like a 5/6 digit code and use it to to go online book your seats, pick your meals and check in night before online......i'm looking forward to giving it a go!

We are going on 14th and our tickets arrived yesterday. I'm sure yours will be with you in a day or two.

Spoke to Virgin who said that due to the BA strike recently they had to issue more tickets for BA passengers. Also had a printer failure two days ago and so couldn't print tickets. This has caused a backlog and subsequent delay in getting tickets sent out. They said they are printing tickets for departure date the 12th today.

Cuts it a bit fine don't you think?

It certainly does, especially as we are actually leaving Ireland on Friday 16th September. So, if what you're saying is correct, the tickets for the 19th will be getting sent out next week. I wonder what will happen if they DON'T arrive before we leave

That's nonsense! We are travelling with Virgin on 14th and our tickets arrived here on Monday 5th!!!

I would think they'll be with you by the weekend, yes. Mine are nearly worn out already with the constant inspections!!!

As an aside, are you going to be donning anything of the lime green colour whilst you are there - just in case we happen to be in the same place at the same time?

Hadn't really thought about it...are you? Was it you eating at California Grill on Saturday 24th? I remember someone on here was going to be there the same time as us.

No, not us at the California Grill. We haven't got any ADR's for Disney (although I suspect that may have been a mistake with the free dining going on - we didn't need them last year)

I haven't managed to find anything lime green (except for a vest top in DPs which was about 6 sizes too small )

Reckon I'll spend half my time wondering if people in lime green are DISers or not.

I think there is definitely a 99.999999% chance that I will be posting as soon as I have my tickets in my grubby little mitts

We are also going on the 17th, we got our tickets on the 29th August!!

We have had the park tickets in a safe place since the week before Disney changed the tickets, quite some time!. Expect that our flight tickets and car hire voucher etc will be another week or two as we travel on the 8th Oct.

Hi - gilld, its us in the cali grill on the 24th at 7.30pm. I'm hoping to post a basic park plan and ADR schedule on here before we go - on Tuesday!!!!

So excited now, packing day tomorrow, then school for kids on Monday and I'm at work, then drive to Manchester airport around 6pm to stay in Crowne Plaza.

Still feel like I'm not organised enough and I've been planning for months!
