year during that time? No hours are posted on disney web site and I was wondering if they were cut short. Also, how are the crowds? Thanks!!:bounce:

That will be New Jersey week, I believe. Our last day of our trip last year was the first day of Jersey week and the crowds were incredible in comparison to the rest of our trip. I'd say to avoid it if you can. The last week in October is a whole lot more peaceful. Hours were short, but the lines were also short so we got through everything we wanted to do.

thanks for the heads up. it was a good week for us because my kids are out 2 days that week. Maybe we will try another. Thanks

We usually go the first week in November and I really haven't noticed a crowd problem. I believe the whole myth of New Jersey week was started by the visitors from New Jersey who want to keep the rest of us away.;)

we were there November 6-12, 2002, and the only reason the crowds were heavier was because it was also soap star weekend at MGM. We avoided MGM on Saturday and Sunday, and MK was crazy-crowded Saturday night but that was only after all the other parks were closed and MK was open until 11. Other than that I thought it was a great time to go. We had awesome weather, and the crowds at the other parks were quite manageable. I'd go back again then any time.

We go the beginning of November almost every year and will again this year (Yes, we are from New Jersey). We have never found crowds to be bad. We have rarely waited more than 25 minutes for the big attractions, and usually 5 to 10 on most others. The weather in November is great, low 70s to low 80s, and little rainfall. Now that the secret is out, I hope all my NJ friends will not get mad.

We went last year during this time and found it to be a bit crowded. Mind you we are 2 adults with no kids and have never had to worry about taking kids out of school so our term "crowded" may be differant than yours. We did get everything done that we wanted to do and also took advantage of EE as well. But again to us it was a bit on the crowded side. The weather can not be beat as it was beautiful everyday. We could not have doen better in that aspect. This year we are avoiding Jersey Week and heading down the week before Thanksgiving instead. I am hoping for low crowds and great weather. Keep your fingers crossed!!!
