Anyone going Dec 21-24 on the Wonder!

The thread has a great FAQ section. It has this note on movies.

What movies will be playing on our voyage? You can call 888-325-2500, choose the reservations option, then ask what movies will be showing the week you cruise.

They are closed right now, or I would have posted them for you...And yes, when Disney releases a new movie, it is shown on the Magic.....Not sure about the Wonder as there is not a "movie night" on the main stage.....might be, just not sure.

I called the number and they rattled off the movies which they are scheduled to show, but they said it was not definite :confused3 and there could be changes and so forth. I don't remember them all, but I didn't recognize some of them. Cars and SC III were on there, and Heffalump. They told me to watch the paper that is delivered to the stateroom each day. :wizard:

Thanks for your help!

DW will always see a movie, but I normally pass. There are to many other things going on. I can watch the movie when I get home, but I can't go sit in the Rainforest! :thumbsup2

OK I have to look up this rain forest thing you are all talking about. :sunny:

Actually I was trying to see what movies were being shown because my boy wants to see Eragon. It's coming out this weekend but not local to us. I don't even know if it's a Disney product, but it would make my life a tiny bit easier! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

Not a problem since it is only three days. What kind of trouble can you get into?

We meet the tinks last night and had a beer at the Irish Pub in PI. Great place. More details with pictures, from Tink, will be coming.

Jim - Sam wanted me to check. We were talking about packing last night - didn't back - just talked - anyway, I suggested no Tux for the Wonder - he wanted me to check to make sure. So, I am checking.......Thanks...

No Tux or Formal wear from us this time - too short a cruise. In fact I am thinking velvet top, pants, and a nice jacket will work. This seems so odd to have so few bags. We usually take 8 bags + 4 Carryons. I am sure we will have less than half that amount this time. The kids are good with not going to school on Thursday, so when we leave for the port will totally depend on Jim and how long he decides to work that morning. See you soon at the port.

Please tell Hedgie thanks for the Pixie Dust for Lisa - she was THRILLED!!!

thanks for the response...we are packing tonight. I concur with no tux....I have velvet on the list as well, but a skirt and jacket with silky blouse....our pirate outfits are all set from the last cruise and a simple sweater outfit for dinner the first night, a swimsuit and I am good to go. Hedgie is all packed. Hats are easy....

See you at the port. I am off the 21st - not being a morning person....Brother is already here to house sit so we are good to go...I hear an Irish pub calling us on the 20th. We may meet up with the Tinks on the way up.

I think we are packed......strange to have so few.....oh well, off to do morning chores....

EVERYONE GETTING EXCITED???????????????????

I'm excited, but not packed yet. Guess I will do that tonight.

At least I got all the electronic gear charged, except for my running watch which is being overnighted and should be here today.....unless Molly is outside.

I'm thining of doing a run in Nassau. Never spent any real time on the island except down town or heading to the dive shop. Maybe a long run will let me see part of the island.

I'm not sailing with you guys, but next year we'll be on this same sailing... so I just wanted to say Bon Voyage and I look fwd to reading your trip reports when y'all return.

I go to Palo's tommorrow night...how dressy can I get? I mean can I wear a really nice semi-formal or is that too much? I bought this vintage long black dress a few years ago and have been dying to wear it when I went on a cruise someday. And well now its time....what ya think? Its long, silhoutte like...so beautiful....with black straps, no sleeves...sexy...I dont even know if its considered semi-formal technically.I think my husband would approve, but I dont want to overdress or underdress...HELP!
