and how crowded is it?

Hi! We are booked at the WL woods view for Nov 26-30 . We will also be celebrating DS's 6th b-day!

I copied down the AP rates from last year (2002). This is from mousesavers.com:

Fl Residents codes were the same and I don't remember if any other codes were offered.

We are also planning a trip at Thanksgiving time and here is what I have discovered. Mousesavers offers a chart from the last few years to show what discounts have been like "historically." There are codes for November listed but none I could see for the Thanksgiving week. Attendance is low for November but spikes at the days of the Thanksgiving weekend (this from a chart in Passporter). We are going regardless but any park visits will be done BEFORE Turkey Day! It's a busy time so you might need to book a room you can afford at "full price" and request a discount later if codes do appear. You can also plan for a Thanksgiving meal at any of the resorts; this reservation can be made 120 days out -- July 30th.

We'll be there !!!!!!!! We got the comeback rate for POR for $89 per night.

We have gone to WDW many times...last year was the very first time we were there for the holidays (Thanksgiving).....

We LOVED it !!!. The weather was 60's in the day and high 40's - 50's at night. very refreshing. (we are used to the summer heat in WDW.)

The crowds were "noticeable" BUT who cares. Anything is better than being at home and going to work.

The Xmas lights, music and atmosphere was GREAT.

When we were there at the end of last August, we actually saw them setting up the lights for the holidays and that was 3 months before. So you can imagine how "lit up" it is.
