DH & I are thinking of taking a trip to Las Vegas. We have free flyer miles & thought maybe a flight to Vegas. Can anyone verify if dvc buena vista has trade share with dvc there? My dvc info is buried in the file cabinet. I'll be in there soon enough for taxes, I hate to dig it out twice. So....if anyone can help me out, Thanks

I know they have one or two, but IMO rooms can be so cheap in Vegas that saving the points and paying cash would be best(I did say IMO). I mean if the time share you stay at is off the strip your cab fare can add up to more than it could take to pay for a room ON THE STRIP.

Take this past weekend we got Sat night(no prior night required) at the VENETIAN for $130. The Venitian is awesome and if it was in any other city in the world it would never go for under $300 per night. My Friends stayed at the Sahara for $65 bucks.

And weekdays can be even cheaper, we have book the MonteCarlo(prime spot on the strip) for under $50 per night midweek.

Of course during huge conventions or holidays the prices can easily triple(or more) but depending what dates you plan to travel, paying for the room should be considered.

Thanks ANEWMAN. Could you pm me with what would be considered value dates? Thanks again.

Agree.

While I hate Vegas (I went once, will never return) we stayed at a suite in Paris Hotel for about 100 per night. Our bathroom was probably 200 s.f. in our suite.

Just do a little digging and don't be afraid to ask for upgrades.

We have just booked the Carriage House in a Studio for 7 nights for 123 pts. I think that is good value as the location is really good for October.
