Anyone getting out early today?

I'm not sure if I am or not. I am still waiting for my boss to come in. If he does let me go early it won't be to at least 2pm wich i will be very happy with if he does.

It is so hard to focus at work today....I just keep surfing the web cuz I am in holiday mode already.

Boss is taking us to lunch at P.F. Changs at noon......then it's home for us. We have Monday off too........still don't know if he is giving us a bonus yet (he is new, just took over for old boss that retired on Dec. 1st)......

Well, I came in and opened the salon and will stay until 1:30 (my kids get out of school at 1), we'll go home and I'll clean the house and then I've got another customer around 5, so I'll go back to work around 4.

My DH's company had a half day today.

he just emailed me to say his boss is leaving, so they are all jetting too.

We don't officially have an early close, but...

I've already put in 40 hours this week, and my DH got in at 9:30 last night, so I'm planning on leaving here in the 3:30-4:00 range.

I'm with Anne. I plan to leave around 3:30 - 4:00. Pretty much when my boss leaves, I'll leave, too. I've got to buy fish for tomorrow and the kids decided yesterday that they aren't too old to visit Santa after all. Well be standing in line by 5:00 in the mall.

What is this "early" you speak of?

We received an e-mail yesterday saying that while it is "customary" to be let out early on Christmas eve, please note that it's on a Saturday this year, so Friday will be a regular work day. I truly didn't expect it, and we have Monday and Tuesday off so whatever ... but you can bet that all of the managers will go to lunch today from noon til 3PM

No problem, they can pay me to DIS today ... I can't focus on work anyway!
