Anyone get luggage tags!

We leave on May 14th- no tags. We called and they said that they have sent out thousands, but if I don't happen to get mine... they will help me at the airport. I was wondering if anyone received their tags! Just curious!

We leave on Sunday and the only thing we've received is an email reminding us to put the ME tags on our bags. Too bad they never got around to sending us the tags!

We leave the 11th, no tags here. I also got the email reminder, yesterday afternoon. Had to laugh when I read it!

We are leaving on the 29th of this month. I thought I better check on our ME tags. Sure enough, when I just called today, they had no record of our flight, although I called for ME tags weeks ago. She put my flight in the computer (again) and said I will be recieving my luggage tag (singular) 21 to 10 days before we leave. I told her I thought we received 2 tags per person, she said she was not sure, that it is through another office, she thought it was 2 tags per person before but now she understands it is just 1 per person. Does anyone know FOR SURE how many tags we get? I am crazy about Disney and I know it will all work out, but it might help to recheck on your ME reservations!

We also leave May 14 and we don't have any tags yet either, but what I did was print my own tags w/ hotel, resvervation #, & name on them. We figured if we don't get them, at least we have all the "stuff" they need on our own made up tags...I'm not too worried though.

How's this for drama? I leave at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow, and I just got my tags in today's mail!

I'm really angry with my TA, though. When you use a TA, the DME stuff goes to them, and they get it to the customer. In the packet I got was a note from WDTC telling TAs that they "express shipped" (i.e., FedEx) this package to the TA so the customer would get it in time. Well, my TA's office sent it to me via regular mail -- I live 150 miles from their office, and it's just plain lucky I got it in today's mail. I've ALWAYS used travel agents, love'em, never used this TA before and never will again, because this isn't the first time that they haven't been detail-oriented and customer-oriented.

I am leaving a bit later than all of you (June 10), I just received mine in the mail today. I whistled in the driveway, ran the whole way in screaming, ripped open the package and gawked at the new tags. They are holograms of the castle with the fireworks in the background.

FYI...This is our first trip...can you tell that I am excited?!?!?

Those sound like the souvenir luggage tags. The Magical Express tags are yellow paper tags which are pre-printed with the name of your resort, names of the people traveling, etc. and have a bar code on them. If you are very lucky, you might receive them as early as 3 weeks before your travel date, but more likely 5-10 days before your departure date. Unless you're like those of us traveling in the next few days who are still waiting...!!

Glad that you at least got the souvenir tags and given you aren't traveling for a month yet, I expect you will get your DME tags, too, maybe in the next 2-3 weeks? Good luck!

While we're waiting for Pnutmnm to reply, I'll throw my 2 cents in... I believe you only get those if you booked a package. I booked a room-only reservation and did not get the souvenir/ID luggage tags. So, Pnutmnm, did you book a package?

Leaving at 10am tomorrow -- no tags. This should be interesting, to say the least. Ah well, I have devised a unique way of ID'ing my luggage AND making sure it gets routed to my resort, but I'm not telling how... Will report back in a week on how it went.
