Anyone get an offer to upgrade from Value to Mod???

The past few years Disney has offered a select few the option to upgrade from a value to a mod. The offers have typically come out in July. Haven't heard of anyone getting such an offer and just wondering if anyone has? If you have gotten an offer - please post details here. Thanks. Maybe with the new rooms at AoA - no offer will be needed???

I remember the past 2 years a bunch of people got upgraded from Pop to SSR. I haven't seen anyone post about upgrades like that this year.

In 2011 we got upgraded from ASMu to POFQ. It wasn't a free upgrade, but it cost less than what we prob would've paid if we originally booked at POFQ.

In 2008 we got upgraded from Pop to SSR 1 Bedroom no extra charge and they even let me add 2 additional nights at the cost for a room @ pop

That's nice. How did you get these offers? Were they pin offers?

Not sure, we called literally 2 days before our trip to find out if we can change our ressie to the POFQ (from the All Star) for health reasons, the CM said they had availability, so we paid whatever extra it was -- and frankly it was the best decision we ever made.
