Anyone get a GTY assignment for May yet??

No news here. I expect we will be the last on the thread to find out the assignments if they do it in chronological order.

I am on the Wonder to Alaska May 17th and we got ours yesterday! This is our first Disney Cruise. We were upgraded from a Cat 9C to a 5A...does this happen alot? We were excited about this, but I am also nervous. I have a 20 month and a 2 1/2 year old. Is the balcony safe, and do they have a lock on them?

That is a great upgrade. The balcony door does have a lock and it is quite high up, so no worries about your children unlocking it. Sometimes I find it hard to unlock! You don't have to use the balcony if you are really worried. But it is still a really great upgrade.
In answer to your other question, those kinds of upgrades are not that common, usually you might get an upgrade within the category.

Checked today have a room number for May 29th but a little disappointed am on a B2B May 26 & May 29th, when made ressies they told me would be able to have same room for both, May 26 room 2556 but when checked had a GTY for the 29th was so hoping I would not have to change rooms but yesterday saw I had room 2534 for the 29th, Oh well have to move down a couple doors I guess more work for cabin stewards than me but so wanted to stay in same room and not pack up and move. Always love adventures no matter what!!

If you got the May 14th TA on the Magic, then we can't be too far behind as it's the next sailing. You know the last cruise I was on ( RCCL) we got the very first cabin on a high deck and I was worried that it would be bad but even on the one fairly rough day, it wasn't too bad at all. I worried needlessly. Hope this helps you.pj

Just got my assignment for the May 22 Dream sailing. No pixie dust (GTY 5D, got 6148 which is a 5D) but I'm very happy with the location! Just down one floor from the kids clubs for my boys, but room reports from that area say it's very quiet

You are so lucky my room report says that ours is very noisy! as we are below evolutions club and it is very loud until 2am! we are 5672 same cruise as you !

Frustrating, right?

I tried at the 90 day mark for Palo brunch...nothing. Again, frustrating.

Good luck (I can't believe this cruise is NEXT MONTH).

You may be able to book Palo and Remy on board if you go right away as soon as you board. If not, get on a waitlist because you never know who might cancel.. Hope you get it. I am hoping to get Palo afternoon tea once I get on board. For my cruise, that wasn't even available at the 120 day mark. But I did get Palo brunch and Palo dinner, so I consider myself lucky. pj Now if only I can get my cabin assignment!!!

Oh well, no news this week. Still waiting for two 9D GTY rooms on the Magic May 28th.
