Anyone get a call from Master Card today? BEWARE

Got a call from an "unknown" number on my cellphone today. It was about a security breach on my Master Card debit card (which I DON'T own one). It was a very cheap sounding automated message. Hung up right away, check my accounts, and let the bank know. My DSs got the same call.

Just wanted to know if anyone else got any calls and be aware.

Do NOT call it back it is a scam they have hasd it in the paper around here. They have called me but I don't put my cell on my credit card company for contact.

The scam is that they ask for your info to verify stuff and drain your account. It is a huge scam and you should call Master Card or your bank directly to report it and the number.

They call about my "debit card" and I don't even have one not to mention I don't give my cell as a coontact number for anyone but DRs or family.

I am not sure how they got my cell phone #. Luckily my kids were smart enough to know NOT to give out info, press "1" to continue, or call back!! I did report it to my bank.

hmmm... i've been receiving calls from an "unknown number" all weekend. i don't answer it if i don't know the number. next time they call, i will. i wanna see if that's whose been calling me.

I get emails like that all the time from Sun Trust Bank saying my account was compromised. I don't have an account there. Just scams.
