The reason why I ask is because my DH is seriously considering quitting his current job he's had for four years and applying for a full-time position with Target.
He's been with a huge corporation for four years and has been treated terribly (no promotions as promised, and pathetic pay raises). He's fed up with it, and wants to get out. The field he's in (TV advertising) doesn't have any open jobs where we live, much of that can be contributed to the small TV market we live in.
Long story short, he wants a supplemental job while he starts up his own TV advertising business from home. Target seems to be a good choice. I'd like to know what their benefits are like, because as of right now we are on DH's big corporate benefits, which are very good for what little we pay.
Also, anyone know how much Target pay starts at? I realize this might vary across the states, but any figures would help. DH is hoping maybe for a management job because he's older, responsible, and professional.
Any insight would help! DH will be applying this weekend, and I'm sure there are some fellow DISers who work full-time at Target.
Thanks so much!

I think DH wants to avoid working in food service.
