I was hoping someone from Baltimore would be able to help me...

If you where going to a Baseball game at Camden Yard and are from out of town, what hotel would you stay at?

Any info is appreciated..

Thanks :thumbsup2

I used to live in Baltimore but now live in a neighboring county.

I would stay in one of the Inner Harbor hotels if I could afford it. If they are too pricey, there are some nice hotels in the White Marsh area, right off I95 north east of the city. And there is even park and ride to the stadium from that area. It is about 30 minutes away, because of traffic.

The Inner Harbor hotels would be so easy to get to after the game. No traffic getting out of the city.

When attending Orioles games we've stayed in the city and in the suburbs and have been happy with each choice. For a less-expensive hotel there are several chains in Owings Mills, which is a short drive or light-rail trip to Inner Harbor. We've tried both Amerisuites and the Hilton Garden Inn.

If you'd like a great location downtown, try the Courtyard by Marriott, which is just blocks from Inner Harbor and Camden Yards.

I would stay at Inner Harbor (expensive) or White Marsh (less expensive, though you'd drive to the game from 95).

Days Inn Inner Harbor. DH and I have stayed there a few times for baseball games and concerts. We have paid anywhere from $89 - $150 for king bed, nonsmoking room. The best rates we have found are on their website or expedia.com. The hotel is about 3 blocks from Camden Yards and about 5 blocks from Inner Harbor. Here is the link: www.daysinnerharbor.com

Priceline! We always get to stay at an Inner Harbor hotel (usually the Hyatt) for under $100 per room (we usually get two rooms)!

Bid on 4 Stars! Start out at $70.

I went to see the Red Sox at Camden Yards last July and stayed at the Marriot Camden Yards. It was about a block up from the ballpark and overlooked it, actually. Very nice, but there are also many in that area (the Inner Harbor) that are nice as well. I happened to like that hotel because it was closest to the park and the trip was all about the games!

As an aside, we'd never been to Baltimore and really only got to see around the ballpark and Inner Harbor area, but we really loved it and plan to go again. Have fun!

I'm from Baltimore  and I give another vote for Priceline. I've used Priceline many times in the past and have always been happy with the results.

If you are coming from out of town and want to be near Camden Yards, I would stay at the Inner Harbor. The hotels in that area can be pricey, so I would give Priceline a shot.

Inner Harbor Hyatt
Days Inn Inner Harbor
Or, one of the BWI hotels. Just take the light rail directly to the stadium
