Anyone from Arlington, VA or Washington DC here?

I just got an e-mail from travelzoo.com and immediately thought of you. Here is the link:

You may have to sign up at their website to get to the specifics. Briefly, the Hilton Crystal City (which is in a good location and near the metro) has a rate of $79 (regularly $239) for August 1-September 10. You'll need to enter the code PRO in the Group Code Box under Special Accounts. Or, call the Hilton at (800-445-8667), and request group code PRO at the Hilton Crystal City in Arlington. You need to book by Aug. 4.

Good luck and have a wonderful time!

Isn't it funny how easy it is to go to WDW and other places that you know well, but some place like Washington DC is hard if you're not used to the area. I was so confused when we went to NYC since we'd never been with our family--I just wanted to bag it and go to Orlando where I could plan a trip with my eyes closed. Have a great trip--there's so much to see and do here!

Actually, booking my WDW trip was also a PITA. I couldn't afford to stay onsite, didn't know where to look offsite, and had only a couple of days to organize the whole deal.

DL and DLP are easy. Butone can't always go there. There is too much in the real world to discover ;)

I will check out that travelzoo hilton link. Tnx!

I am just thinking: do I dare to ask about my hotel at DFW or not? Will it also result me in cancelling the reservation and making a new one?
