Everytime I go something is closed !! I have yet to ride Figment or Snow White !! Hall of Presidents was kinda dull !! I did like carrousel of progress though!!

Looks like Star Wars Weekends will be starting this year the weekend of May 22nd. While I would not plan a vacation solely for this event I am excited that I will now get the chance to go. Wonder if this will make the brothers jealous?

I feel exactly the same way. I wouldn't have planned my trip around this, but I am excited that I'll get to experience it on my last day. From the pictures I've seen, it looks like i'll be a lot of fun.

Not much to know yet Rosie, none of the details have been released. Basically it happens at DHS, all day event.

It gets very busy, lots of Star Wars celebs show for autographs, there is a special Star Wars parade and other events. Basically a fun event for Star Wars fans but for anybody else I would advise steering clear of the park.

I read that Space Mountain, Hall of Presidents and the Tomorrowlan Transit Authority will be closed for the month of May.

Me too ! Looks great !!I am already thinking of meets and thought a good way would be to say which park you sorta like maybe plan on being at each day! So here is my tentative , based on UG best/worse days which I have found pretty good !!
Sat.May 16th MK PM
Sun May 17th Epcot am poss DHS Pm
Monday May 18th DHS am Epcot pm
Tues May 19th MKam DHSor Epcot pm
Wed May 20th Rest Day open to any park for a meet or at Pop
Thursday May 21st AK all day poss Epcot /MK pm
Fri May 23rd open to any park
Sat May 24th same as above
I like to make sure I hit all the parks at least once and leave a couple of open days to do what I want when I want!!Catch anything I missed or is a must do repeat !!
So do any of my plans open up to a meet? Can just be quick Hi How are you and take a pix !!or could be a ride together or a meal or a snack!!

That is my tentative schedule according to UG...but again it might all change once hours are released! My plan is to hit each park at least twice, because I know we won't be able to spend ALL day at each park. So we can go back to CSR for a nap, then maybe check out another park for the shows or dinner.

Thought I would do a little "intro" post. We are not offically booked but will be this week. Dates are May 17-24 staying at POP. First trip to WDW. Could not pass up the 4 for 3 deal and wanted to go before the little one turned 3. Am working on my itinerary. Will do all the usual plus probably Blizzard Beach. Have done DL many times in the past-grew up in Ca and cruised DCL this past May. Keeping my cruise ticker cause I am very attached to be meet buddies though it is 95% for sure that we will not go. SO Hi to all and happy planning.

I just checked to see how many of you would be at Pop the same time I am . There will be between 8 - 10 of us there at Pop each day of my vacation ! So if anyone is interested in a Pop meet there are lots of us and lots of days I know I will be meeting up with LizAgna to hand over the fridge ! Any one else have any ideas ????

Mary those are my exact same dates !! I will be solo but no problm with a kid friendly meet! Whose the kid ??? I am requesting 60 or70's 1st floor . I arrive by noon on the 16th and if there is Spectro that night will def . be going, wanna join me ! ?If the dang hours would come out 'd know for sure !! Oh this isgeting exciting !! I love Dis Meets .My first was at Seas in April 2007 !! An unplanned one I was wearing my TFW lanyard and she spotted it ! We had a nice litle chat then and have chatted on the Dis several times since then!!
