Anyone for Dec 2008???

We are going Dec. 6th-12th. I don't have my daughter's schedule for school next year yet. She starts middle school at a different school and I am hoping she will not have anything too important during those dates.(am taking her our of school). When are you planning your trip for. Have you booked your trip? Where do you plan to stay?

Hi, I just wanted to post and say I might be going in December as well! :santa: We are thinking of going Dec. 27-Jan 7/8 not sure. We did not book it yet but we will be soon and we will be staying at POP! It will be out Honeymoon!

breandconsmom- I am from Blairstown, NJ as well! lol Well actually columbia, but its close enough! Is your daughter going to NWR next year?

I just booked WL for Dec. 5 to the 13 (AAA rate; but hoping for AP rate) :woohoo: .

My DD will probably be close to the end of the semester, but we've gone on vacation before during this period and it wasn't a big deal. She'll be in a new school though, so I'll be looking at that school calendar when classes begin!

FYI: For the last 2 Decembers the AAA rate has been much better than the AP rate.

Hey fellow NJean ... (is that a word? ...:) sort of ...?)

We're going Dec 6-13th and staying at the AKL ... :woohoo:

All booked - including flights (Spirit out of Atlantic City - which doesn't do you much good ... )

Hope you daughter doesn't end up with one of those teachers who doesn't know what is REALLY important ... pixiedust:

Maybe we'll run into each other at the MK "Opening Ceremony" on Dec 7!

:welcome:

We will be making our first trip to WDW Dec. 4-15- 2008.:yay: :santa: We live on the west coast. (Oregon, it is snowing here today-in April!!) I took my DBF and his two kids to DLR for the first time last April. Now he loves all things Disney as much as I do. He decided he wanted to go to DLR at Christmas time because I have been there three times at Christmas and I think he was jealous. So I started pricing it out in Jan. and discoved it was way less expensive for us to go to WDW than DLR. Crazy! It was $3500 for 6 days at DLR with hotel, airfare and park hoppers for the four of us. We got a deal through AAA and are going to WDW for $3100 for 11 days, airfare, hotel(POP) and 10 day park hoppers for the four of us. Woohoo!!!! We are counting the days, 228 to go.

Husband and I are going to be at WDW Dec 11-18 2008. We are staying at the Saratoga Springs Resort.:thumbsup2

DH & I are surprising our 9yo daughter on her B-day with a trip to Disney. Her B-day is Dec 6th. A Family party is planned on Dec 5th where we will make her last gift a box full of Disney items and a note saying "Pack your bags, we're going to Disney tomorrow!" I can't wait.

That is so sweet!! My grand-daughter's b-day is Dec 1st. We went down this past Dec. to celebrate her 1st b-day!! And we're booked this Dec 6 - 14.
We can't go down for her actual b-day, because of family celebrations, but we celebrate for a week at her Happy Place!! We got a great deal at Bonnet Creek on a 2-bedroom. Way cheaper than our SSR stay last year.

Now, if only I could figure out a way to afford a trip in Oct for MNSSHP and F&W!!

OK we arrive Dec 7th and I've calculated 180 days back to June 10th. For someone going at the same time...is that the date you came up with??

Ev

We arrive on that day as well, and June 10th is the date that I can up with using the calculator on this site. Here is the link to it, if you haven't already used it.

Thanks...its nice to be able to check with someone else.

We are spending the first three nights at AKL then will be joining you at Poly for 5. (Just couldn't pick only one resort!!) I haven't been to WDW for almost 20 years and its the first trip for DH & the kids.

Just booked Dec 17th to 25th at Pop with meals. Based on AirTran fares - 79. each way from Philly to Orlando! :cool1:  :yay:

DD will miss 2 days of school, but I'm hoping they won't be overly important days! Just afraid that the crowds will start over the weekend instead of on Christmas Day.

We are fellow NJsians, we are staying at WL Dec 7-13, and are driving since Spirit is $1453.00 from AC for the 4 of us.

Me!!

We are going Dec 17-21st at CSR. Cant wait! We went last year at New Year's and by the time we went to GF to see the Gingerbread House they were taking it down. I thought they would leave it up as long as the other decorations were up.

I am seeing this year! :thumbsup2

Will be there in early December. Booked the trip with AAA and am waiting for Southwest to open up for December and am hoping for a really low cost flight.

Can't wait to see the Candlelight Processional (will actually be able to see 3 different performers), Osborne Lights and all the resorts decked for the holidays!!!
