Anyone fly SW from Providence lately?

I was wondering how close to boarding time you got an A boarding pass by checking in at the airport?

We're flying on a Friday morning, the names are not separated out, so can't do boarding pass online (unless I call to separate them out).

Call Southwest, they will separate the reservation for you.

I fly out of PVD to MCO two or three times a year, and always on a Friday morning (7:25 am flight). We usually arrive by 5:30-5:45 and sometimes can get an 'A' boarding pass.

You'd be better off calling SW and asking them to separate the reservations so you can print your boarding passes at home.

We flew out of PVD on SW a couple of months ago. We arrived about 3 hours before the flight and received 'B' passes.

We flew out of TF Green in March and arrived around 9:00-9:30 for the 11:30 flight and used curbside checkin .
my parents and I all on 1 ticket all got A boarding passes and then once through security it takes us a bit longer as my dad has to be wanded down. while my mom and I take everything through X-ray, it takes us about 5 minutes while depending on the number of people being wanded it takes my fatehr about 15 minutes
I head to the A spot at the gate and wait so we can get our favoite row.

when you say separated out, do you mean separate reservations? I was going to make my reservations tonight, but couldn't put them both on my debit card because of the limit.... should I make separate reservations? one in my name and one in my daughters? I'm planning on printing out my boarding passes the morning we're leaving.

You can always make them together then call and have them separated. do whatever is easiest for you.

thanks, Maraaki, I did end up making them separate. I had also called my best friends who fly on SW all the time and the also make separate reservations.

But I just remembered, I may not be able to print them out in the morning as we're staying at a hotel near the airport the night before, this way we only have to get up at 4:30 a.m. instead of 2:30 a.m.!! I'll figure something out.
