anyone fly out of philly lately?

Leaving in 3 days out of philly.Anyone have any tips? Our flight is at 1:10 pm.I Have a few questions...

1. My dad will be driving us, can he pull right up to the curb & drop us off?

2. Curb side check in avaliable?

3. If we pulled up at 11 am would 1 hour & 10 minutes be plenty of time?

4. when we fly home, where should I tell my dad to meet us? baggage area?

A friend has flown out of Philly 3 times in the past 2 months. Said it was the quickest of all of the airports through which she had to travel. Random people were pulled for thorough checks at security. She was able to do curbside check-in the last two times, including last Tuesday. She said the worst part was getting there so early and then having nothing to do but wait!

Hey guys, Philly has been fine, although on thanksgiving morning we were in a looooong line to get through security.

Your dad will be able to drop you off at the curb, and curbside checkin has been available...you might want to consider keeping the stroller with you till the airplane and then letting them take it at the gate, that way it will be there waiting for you right outside the plane in case someone is sleepy or you just need them to be in a safe place while you move quickly through the airport.

Baggabe pickup is usually really quick at Philly, so maybe you could be in contact with your dad right as you land, call him on your cell phone to see where he is because they usually mmake you keep circling at the airport in your car.....

They are doing construction at the arrival area and it can be very confusing and not easy to pull over. You might want to call your father after you land and then wait outside for him. My son picked us up a couple weeks ago and arrived early. He rode around a couple times and ended up parking in the garage.
