Anyone flown Maxjet?

No, put have heard very good things about them...

The down sides are:
- the seat isn't a "lie flat" seat (like BA or Virgin).
- they fly out of Stansted (which is great for some people, but awful to get to for others...)
- only fly to New York.

However, food is suppsosed to be good, nice details like canapes, you get a personal DVD player (no TVs), seat pitch/recline still very good (better than WT+/PE). Nice lounges, good service.

Definitely worth a try if you can get a good price and Standsted/New York is convenient for you...

Wow - they are cheap! Worth considering.

thanks Boo Boo, interesting.
many cheap internal flights from NY

Or, if you are happy to transfer to EWR, Continental fly direct to MCO for about £350 per person in First Class. Although you can get economy for a third of the price direct from JFK-MCO and it's only a 3 hours flight... (and most US First Class isn't much to write home about...). You may be able to go cheaper on some of the US LCC too.

We flew with Maxjet to New York (3 days in NY before heading to Orlando) earlier this year for a fantastic price of just under £1200 for the two of us - everything about the flight was superb; worth every penny. The only downside is that it has spoilt us for any other flights!

We're just hoping they'll do another offer in the near future so we can experience the luxury again!

Flowrida.

The fly to IAD now as well, and have plans to add more routes later this year
