Anyone Flown Air Transat YYZ - MCO?

AT was a terrible experience. The agents in Toronto were arrogant. Wouldn't talks mo or reply questions. Tough ones like how are? How's your day going?

But I can handle that. What I can't handle is when they change not only my flight time but my flight number and airline without telling us. Had a 19am flight cook and I arrived home at 1:30am. Due to it all. They had no reps there. The booking centre said my original flight was still showing on time and told me I must be wrong. After an hour phone call I found out we were coming home on can jet at 4pm. The flight was delayed and then the gate moved and we finally touched down at midnight with our hysterical 1 year old who had no naps and wouldn't sleep on the plane.

Air transacts response to my complaint? Well there wasn't one. Nor was there a reply to my follow up.

Just flew out of tux a couple weeks back and never again. 3 hours from the time I arrived till the time I reached the gate. Air Canada was terrible to deal with when trying to check in. Pre boarding was all done but their kiosk crashed and I couldn't start over so had to stand in line. Then they checked the bags but didn't take them. Carried them through customs and the dumped them on a belt at security. No one scanned or checked them. Just dumped them. Buffalo is the way to go.

:crazy2: That's awful. You just made me feel better about sucking up the higher prices for 2014 and booking through JetBlue.

We fly from Syracuse vs Buffalo, however, as its a shorter drive (though we have flown from BUF once and enjoyed it). Its a similar experience at both airports :thumbsup2 .

I've never had a bad flight out of Buffalo with Southwest, Airtran, or JetBlue. From Toronto I have had one good flight ever and that was WestJet. I flew to England on Air Transat this summer...didn't know it was them until too late, used to be Thomas Cook... and I had the same amount of legroom on a flight to Florida. Couldnt get comfortable at all for 6 hours.

The older I get the more comfort matters and from now on I am upgrading to larger seats on all flights. The legroom I had coming home last month on the AC Rouge plane was very nice. Row 4 we were in. The staff were fine but Air
Canada as a whole was a disappointment. From booking the flights twice and charging my card to trying to book seats and having to call them, to saying they had 4 seats with extra legroom left and then having none, to getting to the airport and having their check in machines not working it was a pain. We stood in a line for an hour and then had to take our bags with us after having them checked through customs and then at security we dumped them on a conveyor belt. Not sure why we had to carry them the whole distance for no reason. I was really turned off of the Toronto Experience. The waiting lounge by the gates took up all the seating for families. no strollers could get near the seats as they had romantic little 2 person seats everywhere with tables. Had I been going on a couples vacation I would have thought it was fun. but it wasnt practical for a flight to Orlando with a ton of kids.

Next time we are off to Buffalo or Niagara Falls. Syracuse is too far for us. But for all the moaning I have done in this response, I still had a great time at WDW. I love that place.
