WE usually fly out of Buffalo, but it seems that the prices are a little crazy on both Jetblue and SW.....Anyone find anything out there that is reasonable?

Prices are much higher this year compared to other years! I was lucky and got Jetblue for $340 return for each of us from March 2nd to March 15th. I have been trying to help a teacher friend watch flights, but they are high right now! Not sure their will be much movement!

Check alternate airports to fly out of especially during March Break. Don't limit yourself to Buffalo. We live in Oakville and have flown out of Rochester, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Detroit & Youngstown, OH. Check Allegiant as well since they fly out of smaller airports including Niagara Falls. We paid $496 inc taxes for 4 tickets for March break in 2011. http://www.allegiantair.com/
Crazy compared to past experiences . . . but as another post as pointed out things are higher than the past right now. We have RT booked but took a beating on the return leg when SW finally put it on sale (unfortunately we were on another cruise and at sea at the time and we couldn`t get things booked until we got back). Still for the 4 of us the price was 2k all in return. A LOT better than the $5200 we priced out of PIA. Still more than we were anticipating.
We just booked SW ORL to BUF on the Thursday of the March Break to head home and got $121.00 direct flight. Never been on SW, usually JB because of the tv's. But all kids have Ipods and they will be charged up for the flight. I heard on the dis that anything under $200 is good. I have never left disney so late in our March Break but we have a cruise booked and didn't want to take the kids out of school. I'm soooo happy with the price we got
Believe it or not, we booked out of Minneapolis to Orlando. It means a 5.5 hr drive from Thunder Bay, but the savings were worth it. Three of us flying from Minneapolis to Orlando for $770. Even with the hotel and gas, still beats the $1600 from Thunder Bay thru Toronto to Orlando. We have had good luck with Air Tran for this trip, and had big savings last Christmas with Air Tran from Minneapolis.
