Anyone familiar w/Demarle? (Inspired by the Pampered Chef thread)

I have been invited to a "Demarle at Home" party tonight and have never even heard of it. Are the products good quality? Are they priced reasonably? Just curious !!!

All I've been able to find out so far is that they manufacture non-stick, flexible bakeware. Things like cake molds that come in different shapes and are made out of some special type of plastic that are totally non-stick. I have several of the Nordic Ware bundt pans in different shapes and I have to admit, many of the cakes don't turn out because they stick to the pan. These plastic ones might be the answer! I'll post after I attend.

Okay -- this is the coolest stuff I've seen in a long time!!! You basically start with a perforated cooking sheet that you place whatever mold you are using to cook on. The molds are completely flexible and non-stick. For instance, if you are making a cake using the Sunflower mold...you place it on the cooking sheet, pour in the batter, bake for the required time and remove from oven to cool. Within a minute or two the mold is completely cool to the touch. Once the cake cools, you just flip it out of the mold. The one we had at the party was so moist -- I couldn't believe it. There are gobs of molds to choose from to make everything from brownies to meatloaf. The also have kitchen tools, knives, pots and pans, etc.

If anyone is looking for a business opportunity, they might want to look into this as it just started in the US last year and there are only 700 reps. so far (can you tell I heard the whole sales pitch at the party?).

Anyway, I will use the items I purchased right away after I receive them and let everyone know how they worked.
